When I was 16, I had no peak at all. I would start with straight bar curls, and go very heavy (push yourself 2-3 reps past failure with good form and someone spotting you to really get deep in there). Then I would go to single arm dumbell curls, 4 sets 10 reps, 8, reps, 6, reps, 6 reps. Then 1arm dumbell preacher concentration curls. At the and I used to bang out heavy heavy dumbell hammer curls (not so strict form).
You are born with a spark; to search for the truth, for the best you can be. Practice. Disipline. Preparation. Try and try again. Then one day you are on top and they say you are an overnight success, a natural. You smile, you know. - Anonymous

Per Arnold "The Man" Schwarzenegger, the best way to work on your biceps eak is CONCENTRATION CURLS. Make sure when you do concentrations, you DO NOT rest your elbow on your knee. Rather, hunch over like Arnold used to and let your arm hang perpendicular to the floor. Also, when you curl the dumbbell, turn your wrist so your pinky finger is higher than your thumb at the top of the movement.

Sorry to burst your bubble but peak is genetic you either have it or you don't no amount of training will give you a peak if you don't have it. Just like having a short bicep with a high peak you will never get a full bicep. It is all genetic anyone else think other wise you are in for a rude awaking, training and waiting for a peak.
