You misunderstood my comment. I meant that I wanted Miami to win just in case we upset FSU, Muschamp's win wouldn't be a big deal since Al Golden would have just accomplished the same feat.
I think Mullen or Bob Stoops are the best candidates. I think Stoops has gotten complacent at OU and would be energized to start fresh.▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ Florida Gators Crew ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂

I did, haha. In that alcohol laced tirade, I agreed with what you said.
Of course I was rooting for Miami (Lord have mercy), but it was irrelevant. I knew UGA would handle Auburn, so the win would have been worthless anyway. Add up that Mizz needs one more win to clinch, and it's all a wash. FSU will blow out UF, sadly. Defense will hold up for a few quarters, then tire with the offense 3 and outs. I wasn't knocking you, I was agreeing with you.Braves-Gators-Falcons-GT

Sorry about your Gators. But the HBC still owns the swamp.
Even after how easy it looked for Dylan Thompson to twinkle toe past the Gator defense into the end zone during over time to win the game..... I think Mushamp would make a good DC at carolina if we end up needing one. It looks like we may.
Looking forward, I like the Gators when they aren't playing Carolina. I think Florida will pull off an upset on FSU.Last edited by PalmettoG27; 11-16-2014 at 03:51 PM.

I think she sleeper pick is Bob Stoops. He coached defense at UF, has been very successful at another big program as HC, still young, puts an emphasis on offense, can recruit Florida/Texas/Oklahoma, and I honestly think he'r ready for a new challenge. I think he takes his knowledge and experience from his time at UF and OU and builds a legacy at UF. I hope. lol.

No. Foley is one of the best AD's in the country. Between hiring Billy Donovan and Urban Meyer he's gotten two of the best coaches in two sports. You might be right about him being a DC somewhere big, but I think he'll wind up being like Zook and taking a Big 10 job, or maybe a smaller P5 job at an ACC or Big 12 school even.

Watched most of it. The usual outcoached and outclassed type of game we've seen the past 4 seasons. Still have no fukcing clue how this school can't find a kicker. It's embarrassing. Oh well, had their chance to win, and still couldn't do it. Treon probably isn't the answer either, IMO. Seems more like the flash in the pan with had with Tyler Murphy, but still would have more wins than they did with Driskel. No telling where they'd be if Harris started from day one, maybe I'm being harsh and I know he's still young.
Anxious to see who they pick up.Braves-Gators-Falcons-GT

Will fap for hours if McElwain is our next coach. Too many people want some kind of rockstar while the rest of us just want to win games. McElwain's offense ran a train on our defense when it was one of the best defenses we ever had at Florida. The guy's the real deal. He's not the coach many of you guys want but he is the guy we need.Dolphins - Gators - Proud graduate of the UWF Argonauts.

I hate to even speculate on the new coach. But like I said to my son on Saturday, I just want an offense. Four picks in a game and you get what 6 points? Need to move the ball down the field and you throw the ball for like 6 consecutive passes. All netting zero yards (except the PI call). That is one of the times where I was hoping we would run or throw a screen.
