After getting the raid chest on Tues, all I needed was the Sunbreakers. Lo behold, Xur sells them today. 30 and easier hard raids here I come. Don't even care how poverty. After that, I just have to get the raid gauntlets and I am done.

Bumhole don't pick, although they could admittedly over-ride the selection. Just like everything else in the game, it's all RNG.

Game is fun and gunplay is good.

This is one thing Bungie deserve credit for. The gunplay and general movement are fantastic. The rest, though? Sub-par.

Did the weekly and nightfall with a group then solo on my alt.

Valus takes more damage/shot it seems when youre solo, plus way less enemies. If you hide in that ramp hole with a group, lots of phalanxes come and the process takes a long time cause they block your view.

Solo very few come and you can finish the job quicker. Plus theres always someone with a ****ty gun that takes the only decent shooting place in that hole.

No good reason at all. I rememver with cod ghosts in extinction it had searching for other players feature and the extinction was surpisingly based on team work if you want to get far. Most everyone had mics and they knew it was needed. If they did the same with raids I see it working flawlessly. Im in the same boat tho i have a ps4. I dont know 6 people at once that would want to raid and its annoying as fukk.

have 49 coins now too, will just be doing nightfall 2x a week until DLC. Too many games coming out for me to spend more than 1 hour on the raid just at a chance at those guns.

Level 30, did the raid normal Tuesday night. Only got shards and energy. Already have a maxed atheon's epilogue, vision of confluence, praedyth's revenge, mythoclast, gjallarhorn, and numerous other exotics/legendaries. No elemental damage this week? No care, not even going to do the nightfall or weekly. Found out the cooler faction shaders drop once you've hit that faction's level 10 (but like everything else, it's not guaranteed just random) and I have no desire to grind 5 more levels to dress up a digital ken doll in different colors. There's nothing left for me.

I can honestly say it was enjoyable for a month. For a game that's supposed to span 10 years, it's not for me. I'll play when DLC I & II come out to get my money's worth (really wish I didn't buy that expansion pass).

Same. Except no care for Iron Banner and only lvl 29. Done the raid a ton of times and have never gotten any raid weapons, or boots. Just shards and energies after getting some raid gear my first run which I didn't even complete FYI.

Dark below is considered an "expansion", and I would hardly call that massive. 5 -6 DLC until 2016? probably. expect something similar to battlefield/cod DLC release patterns over the course of 2 years, then the sequel comes out

Bungie's latest update stated they will be releasing updates in the 'coming weeks' that will make "Exotic weapons stronger and more interesting to upgrade". Juju is a nightmare to use before you get String of Curses. If you do stick with it, it becomes the ultimate farming/choke point tool. Hitting headshots and using a fusion rifle backup for yellows/boss can get you through most solo patrols or missions without ever reloading. As part of a team though, it's a bit tricky because you have to get killing blows for the weapon to matter. We'll see what Bungie does with it.

I have both Thorn and Bad Juju upgraded and waiting for merit to use them. Both bounties were annoying as fuk so I hope it wasn't all for naught.
