Didn't get a chance to weigh myself this morning, was almost late for work. Food has been a bit all over the place.
I have finally discovered why it doesn't seem like I want it enough. My mind is my best friend and worst enemy. I can convince myself of anything, thus make any and every excuse to not eat on point.Instagram: MorbidlyObese2FreakinBeast

Mark.
While I understand your line of thinking the problem with it is the sustainability. The key to long term weight loss is in moderation and finding a balance between the food you like and the body that you want to have.
"Extreme" programs are basically the cause of almost all major rebounds, in that they are both unsustainable in the "real world" and instill an exaggerated sense of deprivation which in turn leads to depression, resentment towards the process and finally binge/rebounding.
Portion control trumps deprivation dieting almost every time.
The key to "not eating the whole pizza" is not in banishing it from the table entirely but rather in just learning how to "not eat the whole pizza". The same thing applies to most other foods as well.
Except for Oreos. Those things are simply evil and deserve to be banished to the deepest pits of Hell...
~ Like Tae-Kwon-Leap, my goals are not a path to a door, but a road leading forever towards the horizon.

Thank you Luclin for the input. As everyone can see, I struggle with trying to eat in "moderation and finding a balance". When I attempt portion control, I make compromise after compromise, eventually leading to what everyone can plainly see in my Food Log. Though I have done something similar to lose 50 lbs, and gain back 25 lbs, I still am down 25 lbs.
When I am strict on myself, I don't allow for any compromise because no matter what somehow I convince myself that having something like pizza is ok. Then I say, hey I
Ate less calories
or
exercised a lot this week / yesterday / today / or will tomorrow
or
eat less tomorrow
=
eating over maintenance
Clearly what I have been doing for almost 6 months now isn't working. I am going to try a more extreme approach to kick off the fat loss. I only have 80 day left to my initial goal and will lose no where near what I set out to. BEST case scenario (which is nearly impossible) is lose 50 lbs.
Oh, and thank God I don't like Oreos lol...Instagram: MorbidlyObese2FreakinBeast

it won't matter how extreme you go. As soon as you bring back the other foods into your life, you'll gain it all back if you don't learn how to control your intake. It's that simple. Portion control should be what your focus is on first and foremost in my opinion, then shift over the weight loss. YOU need that foundation if this is going to work for you long term.
also, why are you taking an EC stack?

You're right, I should know better than to try to be civil to the likes of you. I PM'd months ago to your filth from taking up space on my threads. If you did any reading of the thread at all, you would see I haven't attempted anything extreme in months.

Mark, I think you should try focusing on some other goal other than just what the scale says.
For me, the last few weeks, I've been focused on getting stronger at the gym and increasing all my lifts.
I still track my weight and measurements, but it's just to make sure I don't backtrack.
Might make it easier for you to stay disciplined and get that focus back it sounds like you want/need.Only Those Who Risk Going Too Far Can Possibly Find Out How Far One Can Go
