It probably wouldnt hurt, I use whey but don't go into the more shady brands, always beware of quackery. But Ive ben using whey for a while and I have seen a little results, Im only 15 and I havent really bulked up too much(although Ive only been lifting for 6months now), but my chest and arms and shoulders are pretty built up.

I have tried Whey Protein Shakes from Protein Co Canada. I have always gone with unflavoured protein powder, as I dont like the sweet taste. They have very good quality products, the prices are good, fast delivery and customer service is awesome. I have also tried their BCAA which is great.
