Here's something interesting Arthur Jones wrote about Joe Weider in one of his books.
Hitler, I believe, said it first . . . “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it enough times, it becomes the truth.” (Or words
to that effect.) Joe Weider, for his part, has been stating in his ads he has been “The Trainer of Champions since 1936.”
Or 1938, depending upon which ad you read. If so, then he gained that title when he was fourteen years old. Personally,
having observed his career from the moment he first came on the scene, I would be more inclined to call him the
“Bilker of Chumps.”
In his first magazines, which were nothing short of pitiful even by the standards of the time, Weider frequently used
himself as a model to demonstrate exercises; but he was very careful not to identify the pictures as being of him,
probably because he was a very skinny kid with about as much muscle as a survivor of one of Hitler’s death camps.
Over the years Joe has had quite a lot to say about the “Weider Research Clinic,” which, in fact, is a figment of his
imagination, since nothing of the sort ever existed. If Weider has ever invested as much as a dime in research it has not
come to my attention; nevertheless, he has not been at all hesitant about giving himself full credit for having discovered
everything from sex to money, including fire, the wheel and damned near anything else you can name
But, following Hitler’s advice about lies, Joe has managed to survive and grow, and has managed to convince millions
of poor fools that he was the solution to their problems. And, strangely enough for Joe, being a Jew, he seems to
actually admire Hitler; but, if not, then just why does he have his house crammed with Nazi symbols and souvenirs? We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.

Acid is one powerful ride. Did dabble back in the day. It's almost like being taken into another dimension, everything is so vivid, colours brighter, music moves through you and you can almost step out of your body and look at yourself and the world from a totally unique and utopia like state. It expands your mind. It is very difficult to explain.
You can also have horrible trips though. I witnessed a couple and they were very, very intense. As PC said in his post, it can be a game of roulette.
FYI regarding Jobs and LSD
Steve Jobs: LSD Was One of The Best Things I've Done in My Life
"Speaking about his youthful experiments with psychedelics, Jobs said, "Doing LSD was one of the two or three most important things I have done in my life." He was hardly alone among computer scientists in his appreciation of hallucinogenics and their capacity to liberate human thought from the prison of the mind. Jobs even let drop that Microsoft's Bill Gates would "be a broader guy if he had dropped acid once." Apple's mantra was"Think different." Jobs did. And he credited his use of LSD as a major reason for his success."Last edited by Canuck77; 05-28-2014 at 09:19 PM.

Saw on a documentry on DMT and all the people said it was awesome and made them one with the universe and ****. I believe its your brain going haywire but i really want to try it. Im scared of things like acid and lsd though as usually if i have mdma i tend to jump through tables and want to do crazy ****. But being one with the universe sounds cool.

Here is an example...this is a famous illusion, the mask rotates and as the narrator in the video explains, your mind cannot see the inside of the mask as concave because our minds are preconditioned to view the human face a certain way, which is for a nose to always protrude or stick out. Try to see it for what it is, concave/inside of a mask...it is very difficult, nearly impossible for the average mind.
Interestingly, in a study, those on LSD as well as those with schizophrenia saw this illusion as the mask being totally concave once rotated to the back. In other words, all they saw was the inside of a mask, no illusion.
That is how LSD can alter your perception and allow your brain to break the barrier of preconceived or preconditioned thoughts in the subconscious.

Same as you on this one. I'd like to try it but to be honest it's slightly nerve wracking purely with the uncertainty of it. Have been lucky with most things and all gone well but living in Essex and seeing the state of some of our smackheads and such it does make you wonder if it be best left to others....

Bad trips will happen because A) you took too much and dont have the experience to control it, B) you are surrounded a really bad environment (nasty friends, dangerous area, etc.), C) you are already mentally unstable (being too paranoid about being paranoid counts), or D) something very traumatic and unexpected happens (the worst of all). The latter could really mess you up, depending how severe the trauma is.
Mostly, if you are safe, plan out what will you will do, where you will go, and make redundancy plans, you will be A okay... but most drugs users aren't that responsible, lol.

Agreed man. At a house just lounging with a small group of friends who are not all tripping is a good way to go. Worst place imho for early experimentation is at some underground rave or after hours night club where you don't know most of the people and are exposed to many unknown variables that could lead to a traumatic experience et.
Not promoting its use but if you do heavy research on it there is a lot of interesting info on the web. There was actually government funded research for treatment of certain mental illnesses with LSD as well trials used by the military for various tactics, including telepathy and telekinesis.THE LEVRONE 2016 MR. i think its close minded as hell to look at others as close minded just because they don't want to experiment. All the more power to you for feeling confident in your way of life.
I also agree with canuck. too many damn people going off taking drugs they have no prior knowledge about (I am guilty of this myself in the past) in places they shouldn't be. I hope to educate my children of the dangers of drugs in a way that doesn't condemn them (because they are not inherently bad, much like the gun debates), but in a way that says "if you are going to use, here are the steps you can take to know if its right for you."
more on topic. Good for dorian for experimenting. Life is so full of options, ways of thinking, ways of being. If he wants to go off and say some ridiculous stuff, all the more power to him. He is in no real position to hurt people with his views in a unique way.

Holocaust probably happened but if not then all those jews are liying. Who cares really? Hitler was a mad one testical women but all those Germans that joined him are even more stupid and are to be blamed. People talk to much about Hitler as if everything was his his fault when it actually was all those Germans that did everything.
Please reply otherwise I feel stranded.Last edited by 1983Warrior; 05-30-2014 at 12:38 AM.
