Finally back to working out 6 days a week and putting on more muscle. Never thought I'd get back my strength after 4 months off, so I'm happy!

04-30-2014, 06:34 PM #3034You can, and need to find a ground that you know you are suppose to stand on.. hence, stand your ground, this is the place where you know everything is as it should be for you. If you stand in a place where you know in your heart things are wrong, most things around you will never be right.
Rule number one, never work at being what another man defines as being "honorable", Honorable is is being true to what you know and and doing what you know is right for you..

So guys I ended up with the flu again >.< Was out of commission all weekend. I worked out Friday night came home and ate dinner and ended up getting sick early Saturday morning. It was awful. I didn't get back out of the house until Monday afternoon. I went to the gym Monday night... against my better judgement because I felt fine so I could lift. I made it through my ab workout and started doing some arms. I made it through two 3 exercises before I realized I was sweating and starting to get light headed. I had so much energy I felt awesome. I was tearing it up in my lifts but man did I start crashing fast and ended up leaving. I mean I made it about an hour workout but normally my late night sessions are like two hours.
But I am all back to normal. I upped my incline bench press by almost 20 lbs and Im really starting to get some awesome shape... Gotta get my car worked on tomorrow and then going to hopefully have a good midday workout. But we shall see. Have a good weekend everyone I know the guy I have been seeing is going to be up my ass for most of mine... and some of that in a good wayJust started my fitness blog. Check it out :D tumblr - search eyroasi :)

Woah I didn't realize this thread existed! I use this site but not regularly enough to notice there is a gay thread.
Would love to meet other bodybuilders who'd be interested in training together or just chatting about bodybuilding in San Francisco. I'm pretty dedicated and have made huge gains in a year & a half. I'm pretty much doing this on my own as my friends aren't bodybuilders and don't really understand the sport or can't connect to it.
Will look through more of the thread later, but thought I'd share.

Glad you are feeling better. You really can't force your body to do the workouts when you are sick. It's too much stress.
I can't help envy your sex plans for the weekend. I need some practice before my scene partner rips me from stem to stern (my two favourite parts) in three weeks.

I've started doing Daily Burn Inferno with Anja Garcia. Really quite a killer. Very intense, very active, lots of sweat and hard breathing. You'd think I was having a good time!
And my opera opens next Friday. We're doing "HMS Pinafore" and it's going really well! The thing I like least about the treadmill is that I can't run from my farts. -- Source unknown

Yesterday I did 7 sets of decline bench: 155 X 10 (3 sets); 175 x 12, 10, 5; 135 x 15.
This afternoon, I hit 4 set of 185: 10, 8, 10, 9 reps

Damn it, my previous cold gave rise to sinusitis. I still hit the gym but there's that annoying sinus discomfort during the workouts. I hope this goes away soon. I hate doing pharmaceuticals so I'm trying out oil of oregano, which is touted to be a natural broad spectrum antibiotic. I tried taking a few drops of the oil from a dropper-dispenser and ... holy guacamole - it tasted like all the bitterness and pungency of a barrel of oregano was concentrated into those few drops, with a dash of hot chili pepper thrown in! So I switched to the gelatin-capsule form
Welcome to the newbies, and hope everyone will have a nice weekend ahead!

Raunchy?
I think their proposition sounds like torture for the soul, and the most mind-numbing and idiotic concept ever.
I couldn't imagine anything worse than being a "living sex doll" for a couple of older men who have nothing better to do in life than try and re-enact some sad, self fulfilling fantasy. There is so much more to life than this kind of mindless smut (in my opinion). For any young male trying to build muscle, they would need to have no ambition, no independent thought, no desire to self-improve, no friends, no family; and the ability to randomly move to another part of the country (or world) to sit aimlessly in a house with two old creeps wanking every two minutes.
I'd much rather study, work a real job, earn a decent wage, and spend time around real people with substance.
That's just me though.

I'm glad somebody wrote this. Good work. I am not in a position to judge anyone, but I'm certainly grateful that I dont have to be the guy to answer that job offer, so to speak. There's one thing being a 'kept man' by a partner that values you for more than your appearance, and then there's this 'living sex doll' option. Well worded, my friend.
The mental image that I got from this was "The Gimp" from Pulp Fiction. CRINGE!!!
