OK so I'm about 10 days into to a transformation program more details on my blog. Summary: 3 sets of 10 over 12 weeks 2-3 sessions of 30min cardio and 4 workouts per week back&bi's, chest&tri's, legs&abs etc...
My main issue is I just had my 1st weigh in since starting as I really didn't know what to expect...
I know muscle weighs more than fat and I know I'm only using cheap home digital scales (think they have other sensors when barefoot for bf %) anyway RESULTS:
Definitely added 4 pounds! unfortunately scales also say 0.8% BF increase![]()
I don't mind added weight but really hope the bf will reduce guess I can't rely on scales for BF will browse forum for alternate measuring device.
CURRENT PLAN - Motivation not effected - I feel like my workout is a good beginner level so will aim to finish 12 weeks then reassess.
I finally measured my waist properly38.5"
(maybe I lost a bit from 10 days ago....?) but still it was there in black and white - currently 'Obese' UK definition.
Will update blog weekly with further stats - though I don't think I need to start measuring legs, chest and arms just yet.
advice greatly received!
