^^^ good one Steffo
That is a bunch of trouble right there
Aww look at that old, wise face. How old is she Una?
He looks like a brilliant friend for the kids
These are great Steffo - dogs remain in your heart forever.
He must have doubled in weight by now... they don't always stay so cute
Uno is one spoiled little one - gorgeous too.
LOVE the riding pic. How did you get on? Did you go any faster than walk?
That is a lovely family photo!-------------------------------------------------

Thank you, Dee!
We did well on the horse riding. We were in a group of about 40 and the horses got really competitive. Whenever I tried to get my horse (named T.C.) to go to the left or right, she would break out in a trot. She was ornery and was going to do what she wanted.
There was a scary moment when one of the horses in the front reared up and kicked at the horse behind it, which was one of the guides. Luckily nobody was hurt except a cell phone hitting the sand. My horse almost crushed the cell phone because she wouldn't stop when I told her to. It was a great time. We were thinking it was going to be one of those deals where they tie all the horses together, but it wasn't. Most pleasant two hours we spent the whole trip

Great Thread-
Here's a pic of my new beast -Buddy
I've wanted a English bulldog forever and finally am financially able to handle one. His previous owner was unable to give him enough time and wanted a good home for him. He's 2 1/2 yo, 60lbs and pretty well behaved, has some bad manners but we are working on those.
and him chillin in the back yard

Lulz @ Basil's flourescent vest!
Thread continues to deliver. What a terrific bunch of pics posted ITT.
ETA, at the risk of overexposure:
Today is Sherman's 8th birthday. When we adopted him, at age 3, the only two things we were able to find out about him for certain were his name and his birth date, which his previous owner supplied when he dropped him at the dog pound.
We think the world of this guy, and so do all of our grandkids, and actually, everyone else who's ever met him. He is a real gem.

No brain, no gain.
"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon

It's difficult. We kept 2 from this last litter. We maintain friendships with our puppy people and I talk with them everyday online one way or another.
This June litter was the hardest to see go because my wife and I had to bottle feed them for the first 4 weeks. Mom didn't produce enough milk so we fed them every two hours day and night. You get really attached to them after holding them so much and feeding them.
I made videos and took pictures of them once a week. Here's one of the videos I made.
