I'd like to lean down to single digit body fat (at current lean mass that would make me around 71 kg / 156 lbs). I've put on some excess flab over the festive season so currently at about 19%. I'm going to try and lean out fairly quickly in the first few months, so that I can focus on muscle and strength gains in the latter half of the year.
I'd also like to hit the following numbers on the big three:
- Squat: 130 kg / 286 lbs (current 100 kg)
- Deadlift: 160 kg / 352 lbs (current 120 kg)
- Bench: 120 kg / 264 lbs (current 100 kg)
I'm having to move upwards in very small increments at this point, so I think the above is realistic but achievable by the end of the year.

I missed the 315x5 on incline. I got 325x1...I had elbow issues that made working heavy inclines very difficult.
I did get two other goals I had:
BWX5 on Seated OHP and 500 in the Deadlift.
Next year is going to be hella hard - I want to hit 575 in DL's and 275x5 in SOHP's...probably won't add to my incline goal. Its not enough!

Well I reached my target in having no defined goals in terms of weight lifted
I did achieve a gain of over 10lbs this year
most of my lifts have increased this year and have made a 300lb plus deadlift and 225lb box squat
I can look like I lift, if I wear my 12 year old sons T shirt whilst holding a barbell
my T shirts come out of the wash, on the line, dry and then into my wardrobe - so yes I am a stranger to the iron.☻/

I did achieve my goal of sticking to my program for the year. Did PHUL for 6 month, then switched to cardio with a 3 day split for 3 months, then cardio with BH's 3 day split rehab program for the rest of the year (all in the journal).
This lead to:
- I can do cardio machines now. I can bend far enough to do the rowing machine
- I can touch my right toe and tie my shoe
- I have pain still but not always, all day, all the time like last year.
- last week, I actually ran after my bus, only 50 steps or so but it was running and in heels too
- my upper body looks like I lift when I wear a tank top
- I can bench my body weight
- my weight is the exact same though. I'm a poster child for recomping LOL
(Thanks for bumping this, Toby. I had totally forgot about this thread.)** Marie **

Hmm Stay healthy-Distal bicep tendon issues and shoulder impingement/bursitis/adhesive capsulitis with surgical correction planed for Jan. Could be worse but it didn't help my training much. With that in mind I doubt I increased my lean mass much. I definitely stayed leaner. That didn't help me increase my lifts or lean mass either.
That being said overall improvements were made and I'm still here grinding away.
