I was dead lifting yesterday, did 3 warm up sets at 45 lbs, one working set 145, one at 225, then at 275, my form slipped just as I was beginning to lift the bar causing my back to bend forward creating Immediate pain. Now my lower back is in excruciating pain if I try to bend over at all; I have it on ice for now 15 on/off. Is this what I should be doing? Should I see a chiropractor or a ph? Thanks in advance everyone.

same thing happened me deadlifting about six weeks ago. first few days were miserable. after about a week I could put socks on confidently without pain, albeit with a very stiff back. six weeks from injury and my back still isn't right. feels very stiff/fatigued and painful at angles. back deadlifting after five weeks off from it and haven't lost much strength but am going lighter just to be on the safe side.
sciatica pain is a symptom of a herniated disc I believe
