This 100%^ By college, you really should have the insight and maturity to know the best course of action rather than passively attending every class out of habit.
Teachers at my school were awesome, but I was stunned by how incompetent the lecturers at my university were by comparison. I can recall about 10-15 good ones out of 50+. So many would have been fired in any other line of work.
- Couldn't read ahead because most lecturers were too lazy to release a course outline or draw up a reading list (srs)
- Lecturers reading slides verbatim with no extra input
- Reading verbatim out of textbooks, or photocopying whole chapters into handouts
- Several maths/physics lecturers doing example calculations on-the-fly and getting them wrong. brb staring at my notes for hours, wondering why I can't get the same solution
- Lecturers turning up late, failing to finish the lecture then not bothering to publish the remaining slides later... then put that stuff in the exam.
- One lecturer refused to make any slides or handouts. Srs. Just 'taught' biochemistry by rambling in front of a blank screen. Didn't even use a blackboard.
- One lecturer who did publish a reading list would include 20-70 papers, or even full books, per 1hr lecture. No exaggeration.
Virtually all the people who got firsts would skip a ton of lectures, or sometimes even a whole module, and just go dissect past exam papers. Really wish I'd been more cynical like that.

The thing is in university, alot of profs are mainly doing research and they teach just because you're ''supposed'' to teach or that you're expected to.
Sometimes, it's so blatantly obvious, it's kinda scary. Some profs are fukking genius but they can't teach for chit.

women man i swear..
girl gets pissed because i told her to stop planning weekends, because as the semester ends idk how many free weekends i'll have, including next weekend (because i have a final memo and a cover letter)
i told her she can come hangout while i work, but planning things should happen way more spontaneously than weeks ahead of time..
then she took it way out of proportion and assumes i mean dont plan anything ever..
fuk me, i really dont need this chit

Haven't had an actual inspection ever. Dude just does the paperwork, hands you the stickers, and sends you on your way. PA has the most extensive requirements that I'm aware of too.
Some states don't have inspections at all, or only when registering a vehicle for the first time.

I'm sure you know this but 1L grades are very very important. Is this girl also in law school? Does she have any professional degrees ? If not you gotta tell her what's up .
On another more there was this really short Manley at the gym today on the cable lat pull down machine. He insisted that he could pull 270. Asked me to help him with the initial momentum. When i let go the kid literally flew up to the top of the cable. Lulz were had by me .

Lots of states have emissions testing as part of inspection. Texas does. Colorado and California have anal emissions requirements.
Oklahoma doesn't have chit.
Sadly, I've failed inspection 2x in 5 years for totally BS reasons. "Oh you need new wipers, we'll sell you some for $40" Go fuark yourself, I'll go buy better ones from O'Reilly for $26.** KNEE DRAGGERS UNITE **

People that are trying to build a relationship need to be on a similar level. Even with that, it is hard as it is.
I'm sure you've been around drunk ass girls when you were sober. I'm sure that your idea of them wouldn't go much past the banging stage.
If she's not drinking, I really would stay away from it. It will show respect. Plus, if things go well...you can drink on the next date.

I'd go, get a nice buzz going, have fun and be outgoing. But don't exclude your date or get sloppy either.
Whether you want to GF her or not, don't ever be that dude who drank way too much and is embarrassing himself or puking everywhere. Don't feel the need to cling to your dates side but don't totally ditch her for other drunk girls or your bros. This reflects on you and her friend that set you up. If you are friends with both these girls and mess up this date then they won't help wingwoman you in the future.Übermensch
