Found out I still have some venison loins in my freezer. It's not like most red meats, it's more lean. I will post a picture of some I found on Google. NutritionData.com only has information for cooked meat and not raw, and I am not sure what the conversion to raw might be if their is one. I know ground venison is the same as 93/7 beef.
Does anyone know what the macros are on it roughly?
That's a lot what it's like. Only mines darker and looks less fatty but I think that's because it is frozen. I was thinking ~10g fat,25g protein for 4 oz or just go off of the ground nutrition information.
Thank you Nut Misc

It's not the nutrition section, so if you post a nutrition question here then don't expect to get real answers from most people. I tend to sugar coat things less here, too. It is a misc section. Plus the real question is what difference it'll make in the long run if you're an oz or two off on your venison especially since it is all an estimate anyways

I respect you giving the truth. I would much rather get a real answer than a lollipop and rainbow type of answer.
Thank you for opening my eyes me to think about the larger spectrum and not to micro manage. I encourage others not to, but things are always easier said than done.My Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169516313

I usually use the macros from 93/7 beef like you mentioned earlier. Weigh it raw.
There is no spoon.

No way is there even close to 10 grams of fat per 4 oz raw. Venison in general is extremely lean, and the loin of any animal is one of the leanest cuts. I would say the macros of venison are pretty similar to boneless skinless chicken breast.

I usually chicken fry, stew or soak in Italian overnight and grill it rare or dehydrate and make jerky (which I still owe a couple of nutmisc'ers).
I've still got about 10 lbs of ground left and I usually make chili.
I'm tempted to just go buy a grinder and do it myself. It'd pay for itself after 2 deer.
