Nice. I`m toying with the idea of throwing these in. I`m weak off the floor. Was thinking:
Week 1: From the floor
Week 2: Deficit
Week 3: From the floor
Week 4: From knees
What do you reckon?"The hardest part in lifting, is NOT to lift..." - Me
First meet results:
Squat 140kg (+15kg PR)
Bench 130kg (+10kg PR)
Deadlift 185kg (+25kg PR)
Second meet results:
Squat 175kg (+5kg PR)
Bench 140kg (= PR)
Deadlift 210kg (+5kg PR)

I'm also weak off the floor.
From now on I plan to only do deficit deads until me form turns to ****e...then I'll pull from the floor on my last set or two.
This way those last two sets should feel easier than usual after the deficit.
I would suggest the same for yourself mate. Really attack any weakness. I wouldn't bother with rack pulls atm unless there is a lockout problem.
I'll race ya to 220kgMy PowerLifting journal!

Finally Darren!
What format of 5/3/1 will you be training by? Any certain days? I'm guessing the original basic one since you have been out of the game for a bit.USMC: 1999-2003; 2009-Current

Sup buddy!? Haha yep finally got around to it again
Although I haven't been logging I have still been training as usual mate. No slacking here
To keep things fresh and motivating I have designed our program (me and my training partner) like this:
Weeks 1-3
Wendler's 5/3/1
Week 1 - 3x3 up to 3+ reps with 90%
Week 2 - 3x5 up to 5+ reps with 85%
Week 3 - 531 Finish off with a couple of singles at 90-95% of 1RM (Not our training max.)
Weeks 4-6 is more of a bodybuilders approach to things.
Week 7 - DELOAD!
Start next cycle.
In Weeks 4-6 the first exercise will always be for 5 reps (Try for a new 5RM).My PowerLifting journal!
