Typically, how many calories can you eat over maintenance without going up in BF%? I'm sick of cutting for now and would like to slow bulk for a month or two? I'll probably stay within 200 cals of maintenance. I shouldnt really gain any fat right?
I'm 203, ~13.5%. 6'

he will gain nothing but fat with a 200 calorie surplus, there just isnt enough calories to make adaptations without sufficient nutrients, calories, etc...
OP if you are going to bulk, a month to two is spinning your wheels, you will also need to eat at maintenance for a brief period depending on how long you were on a deficit. If you are 6 foot, id aim for 3/4 lb a week on average.
cut another 5 lbs and then bulk for half a year. There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

ok.
Many people have tried to beat the system getting minimal calories over maintenance and end up wasting time. If you could do that you would stay lean year round and gain nothing but muscle. Good luck doing that naturally because it wont happen.
i went from doing that garbage to gaining around 3/4 lb a week and noticed drastic recovery and actually adding muscle, adding weight to the bar a lot quicker, very low over maintenance is a waste of time. There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

If you were to do everything to the T, perfect diet, exercise etc. the most muscle you can gain in a year is around 20-25lbs plus 5-10lbs of fat. So eating clean for a bulk is the way to go.
A lot of guys do dirty bulks thinking their gaining a Ton of muscle when in reality, their putting on more fat then anything. Result, taking a lot of time cutting to get rid of fat and to revile what little muscle you gained.
