8/21/13 9th day taking N-XT
Training: Legs Power
Cardio: None
Macros: 250/370/80
Today was a grinder. Didnt have my training partner and fellow Fitness Revamped coach with me today and as we all know legs is a tough day to do, especially by yourself. Was able to hit my numbers at 75/80/85 percents of my unwrapped 1 rm on the squat. The weights felt good but it was just a tough lift. Ive noticed that i feel tighter at certain points around my physique. I noticed it prominently today in my legs. Now I am cutting and weight loss has been fairly steady so I believe that that is partly to blame but I also looked much tighter and harder in my legs about 30 minutes post workout so I wonder if that is some of the hardening properties of the N-XT. Anxious to see what happens tomorrow during a push hypertrophy day.

By the way just wanted to say that I love this split, so glad I asked you about yours. Legs was yesterday and within an hr after my workout I could feel the soreness creeping up already. I love that feeling! It's a very intense split.

Yeah thats what im starting to notice, even training yesterday I had noticeably more vascularity in my chest and shoulders and through my arms which normally isnt there so that was awesome. This stuff is great!
Awesome man glad you love it! Keep it up and I think you will notice both strength and hypertrophy gains if you eat a consistent caloric intake that will allow for it.
I think its a combination of increased fullness and body fat loss. Since I am cutting I will be getting leaner so I think more muscle will be shown because of that which is great BUT since N-XT has drying properties I would not be surprised if some water loss is aiding this as well.Six Star Pro Nutrition Lead Rep

As in my other log training was fun today. Noticed new vascularity today in my chest and shoulders which isnt normally there so I would venture to guess that the drying out properties of N-XT plus dieting are helping me have a drier look which is awesome. So I am noticeably harder and fuller today, particularly through out my shoulders and arms and upper chest. Now since im cutting I will see improved definition from that but at the rate of which it seemed to improve overnight the last couple days is in no doubt the N-XT and I am glad it is kickin in full force. I think also partly is that with optimal hormone levels and some increase in my test levels nutrient partitioning is most likely improved as well. Fighting a head cold, so the lift was a tough one. I will say however that I have major new vascularity in my arms, so much so that I could see it when I was dumbbell shoulder pressing. For sure thats the N-XT's drying properties. I would also say that its aiding with lipolysis and optimizing my caloric deficit via my cut.

Still fighting this head cold tho I am starting to feel better. Gym session was decent but not incredible because of not feeling 100%. The last couple workouts ive noticed new vascularity with each workout which is awesome. This stuff certainly helps dry and lean out. As in my other log Im starting to finally kick that cold. Strength felt good today and as mentioned in my other log I noticed some new vascularity which was sweet. I seem to be leaning out around the shoulder/chest area more so then other areas. Wish it would come off the old love handles first. I'm guessing it is coming off the love handles; just happens there's more there than your shoulder/chest and its less visible. Sounds pretty good so far into your 4 week run...some people love where they're at after 4 that they extend the run to 8 weeks. Wouldn't go past that personally, gotta give the old hormones a chance to normalize.

Another leg session in the books. Wasnt the best session ive ever had but wasnt the worst. Ive been working on making sure Im focusing on keeping tension on the muscle, particularly on hypertrophy days. I truly do believe that there is merit to making sure you feel the muscle work and not just move weight from A to B. In the past ive tried to go as heavy as possible on squats and legs in general. Lately havnt gone above 225-275 but am making sure the quads, hams, and glutes are doing the work.
As stated above ive been noticing more fat coming off my upper body as ive seen more definition. However ive noticed my legs get leaner as well which is awesome. Now I dont have sliced quads or anything like that but the areas in between my thighs have gotten noticablely smaller and my quads are starting to take better shape. Whats up everyone, hope you all had a great weekend. A couple day hiatus from this log, largely because the results and progress have been consistent while taking N-XT. Scale is still going down which is great and my weekly average is 1.4 pounds less then the previous week. Today was a push power and I felt strong. Hit more then the required reps for my top percentages today which was a huge plus. No real new noticeable physique changes in the last week. Dropped my cals a bit two days ago and am excited to see where that puts me by the end of this week.
Notable sets today were my top sets of decline bench press of 285 for 3 and close grip bench press of 255 by 1. Proud of this as my pressing strength has come a long way over the years.Six Star Pro Nutrition Lead Rep
