I'll leave my input hear. When i was younger my dad married a Filipino. The first few years she was pleasant, she cleaned, cooked, did yard work, ect. Than she began to turn extremely bi polar, this is around the time she began to have problems with my dad having contact with the rest of his family (ie. his mom, siblings, ect). When i say bipolar i dont mean like just depressed, i mean one second she would be completely normal, shortly followed by violent outbursts over the tiniest things. She became very lazy, basically sat and watched tv or went out to spend money. She had no respect for my father, complete disregard for everything he did for her. My dad is a commodity broker, so he does quite well, he bends over backward for this lady and she treats him like complete dirt while spending his money like water. Now that i'm moved out, every time i'm out to see my dad they have at least one middle aged asian lady with her little toddler living there For whatever reason. My step mom is a Philippine native, not Asian American. I've heard similar stories very often. I'm not saying i'd never wife up an Asian, however i would chose with extreme caution.
