2hanned + Blacksmithing = easy mode game once you level
You'll be a walking tank that can one shot everything
I played this on my main character, had to turn the difficulty up to get back into the game
The only probably I have with the game is that it lacks the deep immersion that morrowind had. Everything single thing in the game is a watered down version of what it once was in morrowind. The game is still fun though. Great fun exploring things and leveling up for a while.Last edited by Blacklabel3; 07-07-2013 at 12:34 AM.

the elder scrolls is one of the few video game franchises I still play but I wish they would make the main questline longer. I personally liked morrowind the best because of the gameplay and the long main quest but obviously the graphic improvements in oblivion and skyrim were huge upgrades. Anyways, I beat oblivion in 3 days and Skyrim took about a week. I was really disappointed with both because of that (and yes I skip ALL of the dialogue lol). I don't care about any side quests or mods or anything like that... once the main quest is done the game is over for me. I liked the game but the storyline kind of sucks and I wish they would put more emphasis on extending the main quest/storyline instead of the side quests. I also think a huge downfall of the main quest is that it doesn't utilize the entire map. There are areas of the map that I never visited but I'm not even interested in seeing them now that the game is over. They could have varied the terrain a little bit more too. It seemed like the vast majority of the map was either snow or forest that looked exactly the same.

I could enjoy the game more when i played as a stealthy archer. brb having to sneak around obviously made you more aware of your suroundings. brb dispatching a whole bandit camp from 100 meters away.
brb sneak snipe bandit leader in a cave, go back hide further away. ''must of been my imagination'' with Arrow sticking out of right eye.Instagram: ayy_lmao_m8

Those quests only give you certain rewards (money and items, depending on the NPC). You need to practice your skills or ask someone to train you in order to go up in level.
Here's my trick on leveling up archery really quickly: Acquire Faendal in Riverwood as a follower. After he's following you, pay him to train you. Then ask him to swap items and take your money back. Repeat later.
You can also let enemies do some damage so you level up your light or heavy armor. Just don't let them kill you (obviously).
When I played as a warrior, forging my own armor and weapons were very important, so I basically spammed the forge to level my smithing as quickly as possible by making hundreds of hide helmets and iron daggers. These are then easily sold off to a merchant or smith.

How good is Skyrim?
Skyrim is (100% srs) more addictive than smoking cigarettes. Such a fuking good game. About as manly of a game as you can play.
Brb hunting and beating chit with a huge as$ hammer.
Brb building my house
Brb exploring a vast world that just looks wonderful too
Brb no armor to show off my chest hair
I was sold the instant I saw it being played. The DLC is all worth the money as it adds many hours of gameplay and some pretty sweet special items and abilities and such. Enjoy OP!* Anna Kendrick is my 10/10 Crew *

dunno why but I got bored faster with skyrim compared to other RPGs like Fallout:NV. I feel like due to the way the crafting system and lack of weapons make exploring pretty pointless after a while.
Not sure if they patched it a while back but try not to abuse smithing. It really takes away from the game. Back when it first game out you could essentially just smith iron daggers over and over with no demising returns so you could get it to 100 really easily.
I have it on pc and recently went back to it. Installed mods to make the quest objectives more detailed. currently not using a map or quest markers.
I also has a mod that added in melee ranged spells and allows them to get critical hits, so you can play as a spellblade type rogue character.Last edited by MURedHawk235; 07-07-2013 at 02:43 PM.

Skyrim was the only game I've ever waited outside Gamestop for the midnight release. Got there 2 hours early lol. I loved it for a long time. After finally getting magic to 100 through some cheap tactics and seeing how underpowered and crap the lvl 100 spells are I felt so disappointed an ended up quitting.
Tried playing again today but it was just so boring and the loading screens kill me. Unfortunately I'll have to wait for fallout 4.
Anyone else have the problem of not being able to play older games?Full Blown Baby

Well, I don't even have time to play videogames these days brah...
Not really, no...I may be a PC gamer, but that doesn't mean I'm a graphics whore. There are a lot of older games that have incredible stories, atmospheres, environments, art styles, music, etc...and can really immerse you in the world. System Shock 2 is a good example of this, go look up what the monsters in that game look like, they look like a phucking joke by our graphics standards today and don't look at all scary, but if you actually play the game the sound design is so amazing that it actually is scary somehow. There are a bunch of mods for the game as well which improve a lot of game features and graphics.MAGA
