yup. mp10 = party games imo

As a DH, I would rather fly through a run at mp5-6 than take 3 times as long in an mp10 game just to showboat I can do mp10. Unless something specific like ubers or vota runs.

I did MP10 yesterday with 3 DH sloots(aqso, tdez, and cheng). Makes me think why you're still not on that Manticore bandwagon.

So I just tested this manti, bought it for 100mil just to test the thing.


My *** went down 4k, let alone the attack speed. Now of course I could have done away with the lifesteal manti but I love that feature of the wf. I also could have marquied that emerald for an extra 10%cd. But this is a similar result to what I was expecting. I built my DH around the WF. I love the WF, forever WF! I would say a safe guess as to my deeps (unbuffed) may likely cap at around just under 390 with my current WF build (gear) had I purchased the 2bil manti at the top of the list. Then I would get rewarded with a slow azz attack speed and no life steal. Not a chance jeff. Having a top teir WF is two fold imo, it's fast and deals dmg (if geared) and it greatly increases survivability. Of course the calamity does a better job (crit dmg) but WF fanboy gonna WF.

So as of this "test".
unbuffed deeps with WF 325009
unbuffed deeps with test manti 321544

But thats all with good AR,cc,max disc, and vitality (my hybrid pvp/pve build)

Lol my old manti had 1370+ deeps with one socket, 198 dex, 96cd, blows yrs out of the water and I bought it for about 100m back then. 2 sockets =\= automatically good manti. With 2 sockets and a marq ruby, u want 1500+ deeps otherwise dont even bother

2 reasons why you should go with a manti:
- the best skill atm is RF - bombardment. It simply does not work with a WF cause of the knockback. You want mobs standing still
- the manti is slower, which is a must for channeling RF in mp8+. There is a atk speed / hatred regen ratio that makes RF unlimitted. Its hard to attain with a. WF unless you keep no ias on alot of gear

I agree thats why i invested a bit in my wiz. To have a ranged class and i think they are quite fun.
I disagree on barb part. I never run ahead in a group, i always offer to swap OP for WarCry if Wiz/WD are not tanky enough, i never leave mobs at half hp etc. Only time i leave group is to seek elites cuz im fastest and to gather white mobs for bigger xp bonuses. That's it.

@Aqso, yeah I notice almost every manti user uses bombardment. Best current rune for RF for a wf user is easily high velocity. I will never deny that the manticore deals more real tea hard hitting dmg. But with the speed of the WF and building for it properly, using a WF is a sweet feel that "bandwagoners" will never feel.

Two and a half more levels to p100 then back to my WD. I bought 0dog gear and tested it and I should be able to handle MP10 without an issue.

I just checked your profile and you have what it takes to handle MP8 in my opinion. I used to run Fire Bomb/Fire Pit to face tank stuff with my LS weapon. I could stand in molten pools with my IAS helping me stack the fire bombs. A lot of people like Splinter Darts though since it keeps you ranged. Add some Soul Harvest/Siphon if you need more life steal.

The issue was just a lot of trash left behind I'm at 24% ms but still can't keep up with a wotb barb. I am kind of tankish but when I get stuck and go into spirit mode to get loose I usually step in molten or desc and am screwed.

I finished the inferno campaign lasts night so I have all checkpoints open for farming and got the achievements. Well a lot of them anyways.


The biggest thing is just learning the class and not trying to face tank everyhing like I did on my old barb.

Ps I changed from uhkanian serpent to a frog mojo for the pickup radius that should help tons for the health globes, but I did sacrifice 4k deeps to do it.

Lol that's my main server when I was still playing. I got like 3 lvl 85s there. Its a full server. Thats one of the original servers from Vanilla Wow.
