If it's at the end of the day for last dose, I'd prefer it with casein or bcaas.
When I did scoop it in my mouth, it was a little odd. It seemed like it "warmed up" real quick. (ever experience this?) - and yeah - it definitely stuck to the teeth. lol
Since it blends in and mixes so easily with practically anything but water...I prefer to throw it into/onto food, and in the shaker.505 / 315 / 545

Day 16 Bio-Gro
5/28/2013
Chest and Triceps
Chest
BB bench press: 190x8 (4 sets)
Decline DB bench press: 60x12 70x10 80x8 90x7 100x6
Incline Smith press: 135x12 185x10 185+ ~40lbs of chains (3 sets of 5)
Machine fly: 3 sets of 12
Some nice insight on the bench press:
Triceps
Flat bench skullcrushers: 65x12 75x10 85x8 95x6
Tricep push down with rope: 4 sets of 10
Dips: 2 sets until failure. probably about 15 reps each.
Cardio
15 mins on StairMaster at 60 steps per min. ~152 cals burned.
Workout thoughts: Felt thick, solid, tight the whole way through. I plan on just adding 5lbs a week to my 4x8 bench press each week. For the first time in a while I have been really enjoying the movement. Although I know it is hard to get specific part of the chest to grow, I feel like the decline db bench presses do a good job shaping the lower chest, giving that "U"shape. Got some chain work in with inclines for the first time. Didn't notice a huge change in resistance other than overall lbs probably because it was on the Smith, but they look and sounds cool so they must work. Right guys? Right. 8 solid sets of tri's, a couple sets of dips to polish off the chest/tri's, and some cardio to make up for a hefty day of eating yesterday. Solid day throughout.
Bio-Gro thoughts: Second day of BG at 6 scoops. Tossed the 3 scoops in my oats today for breakfast, mixed very well. The fullness/strength continues to grow and DOMS have been kept at bay, although I was admittedly a bit sore after sumo dead lifting for the first time. I honestly have 0 complaints to date.

By rule, it was. Had a clear cut break on him and a slash to the hands took away a clear scoring opportunity. Does not matter how soft or hard it was. Have to look at the product, not the process.
61.1 Slashing - Slashing is the act of a player swinging his stick at an opponent- Check
Rule 24.8 4 conditions apply, 1) Infraction took placing in attacking zone- Check
2) Infraction must take place from behind- Check
3) Must have been denied a reasonable scoring chance- Check

Chest/Tricep day for me. Usual "do whatever machines/lifts I want until I am sore" kind of day. Only thing I kept track of was barbell bench at the beginning of my lift. Was able to do my usual 5 reps of 245lbs, but it was actually quite easy today.
I seemed to have a little less DOMS. I did do a lot of walking around over the weekend at the zoo and in the city, which may have helped get the blood flowing and promote healing, but I do think that Bio-Gro had something to do with my muscles repairing a little quicker than usual. Felt great in the gym today.++ Positive Crew ++

Pushy Push Push
Didn't have much time. lifted early before work, but I got a good workout in in about 50 minutes time. Just had very short rest periods. Dat dere hypertrophy.
today I mixed things up and did it a little different than my normal push day...
1. Military press.
Used strict form. every rep all the way down to my chest and lockout straight above my head.
---warmup---
-2x12 @45 lb's
-1x5 @ 65 lb's
-1x5 @ 75 lb's
---Working sets---
All at 95 lb's
-1x10
-1x10
-1x8 (failure)
-1x7(failure)
-1x5 (failure)
I felt good about this. my first working set of 10 was very easy, def had a few more in the tank. but I wanted to save it for my last 4 sets. Like i said, short rest periods, so I fatigued and you can tell with my reps per set at the same weight
2. Narrow grip DB bench
-2x8 @ 25 lb db's
-2x8 @ 40 lb db's
-2x4 @ 55 lb db's
---Working sets---
5x8-10 @ 60 lb db's
got my tri's feelin right! nice chest pump as well...
3seated cable flies
5x15
after this, my chest was juicy brahs.... very juicy...
4. front delt raises
3x20 SLOW and controlled on concentric and eccentric movements
boulders for shoulders
5. tri cable pulldowns
3x12 narrow grip
3x10 wide grip
Not many movements today.
I know I didn't touch on some of the major traditional "push day" movements, but I did alot of sets/ reps and definetly got a good workout. incredible pump today!Lift hard. Sleep later. No excuses!

My CP is ready
Nice workout man! I have always found high rep shoulders to be most effective. Really prefer working in the 8-12 rep range in terms of both size gains and injury prevention. Whenever I have gone in the 3-6 rep ranges for things like DB lateral raise and military presses I feel like I am one bad rep away from snapping something up. A hurt/aching shoulder makes both pulling and pressing movements.Last edited by KoHuskie; 05-28-2013 at 04:52 PM.
