More like broken then rebroken then rebroken.
Pan ams > nationals > AO.
MY GUESS is that it ends at up at 170 by the end of year.
:-*
Yes to more behind bar. And get your knees back more. They're not vertical as bar goes past the knees. Pull bar back with last more while pushing knees back more. Push knees back by shifting back onto heels more. Stay on heels through 2nd pull. You come to forefoot too soon, but that's a result probably of not staying back in the first place and getting knees back. Lastly keep it close on third pul
Christ your legs are long.Last edited by schabowy90; 05-18-2013 at 06:38 PM.

Do you guys lift better or worse on a hangover? I drove up to the other town to party and train, ended up having way too much 151 last night and obviously was hungover today but still had a great training session. Did snatch pulls and pulled 110 to my freaking sternum twice so hopefully this means I am getting a PR next week when I max out on full lifts
112.5 snatch
131 cj

Made a little compilation of my training videos from April:
Not quite as exciting as watching Milko Tokola train, or Klokov, Koklayev....well any professional weightlifter but this is my personal crusade against gravity.Strength + Speed = Power
If you never fail, you aren't truly pushing yourself to the limit. If you never push yourself to the limit, how do you know what you're truly capable of?

Anybody use the ERG (rower) to warmup? I used it this morning pre-lift and it was great for getting loose. Didn't have to do nearly as many warmups after rowing 1500 meters.
Also took a video from the front of a 100 kg clean and jerk. Any comments/tips? Also please note that my left arm is in fact locked out here. Years of throwing baseballs has limited my ROM in my left elbow pretty severely.
Edit: also strong American flag action.

This is what I did this past week. Trained with Jon Thursday and Friday, then competed in the tryouts. The gym is awesome, very laid back, play your own music as loud as you want, etc. We even watched netflix in the front room after lifting. Weightlifting talk is filmed in a Dark side room with a closed door, but they have a speaker hooked up so you can sit on the couch and listen live. Hoping to go back this summer for a week before youth nationals and just train because it was really fun.
