    Lean and toning exercises?

Hey I was wondering about some exercises to really help me lose weight in general. I want to become more lean and powerful but I dont want to compromise being flexible and being elongated. I'm especially in need of it around my midsection because of the outfits I wear for dance. I know I'm quite obese but I went from 215 to 202 so far so I'm really proud of that and I'm 5'7 so my goal is 160 (I'm sorry if this info is redundant I'm new here and on my phone so I have no idea what u guys can and cannot see.)

650 is a lot, but if you're comfortable and don't find yourself starving at the end of the night, by all means.

Just to clarify in case you dont know, the amount of calories youre eating is NOT your bmr minus your defecit. you want to find your maintanence calories, not your bmr.

Oh I see, it seems my maintenance caloric intake is between 2150 and 2300 so I should eat perhaps 1500 calories per day.

Way too low. You weigh 202, you should probably be cutting at the very least at 1900-2000. I cut at 2400

mathematically it makes sense, but I'm just worried if I have a slow metabolism from never exercising + skipping meals and binging at night before. But I do think you're right. I think my problem is eating to few calories in an unsustainable way.

Crash dieting - dont do it. Youll have less energy, your metabolism will slow, and it wont last. Better to eat a reasonable amount of calories and lose weight slowly but consistently, at like 1-2 lbs a week (not including water weight + other factors during the very beginning)
