Hai guys! Even though we're not home for christmas- it's still magically awesome We're having a great time! We're actually going on skype with both our families today, so that'll be nice! Back and biceps workout coming up for me I ate way too much yesterday. Actually, it wasn't even that I ate too much all day, but if I eat a big meal it takes a whole day before I can eat again. Hahaha! I woke up at exactly the same weight, so I know I didn't eat TOO much, but I felt a little queasy all day and didn't eat supper last night- I had an apple and some greek yogurt and a beer. Hahahaha! Oh my! Anyway, workout videos and workout posting in a few hours! Hope you are all cherishing the time you're spending with family and friends

A HA! Yes- muddy is how it looks now. Bigger chunks of dark + a darker shade of blond I think would be better! I've got this platinum + small dark strands look on the go and it maes for a very odd shade that I don't think I'm too fond of!
Hahaha! We spent enough money this christmas to have made a downpayment on an apartment lol! Fun! Hahaha! But kind of excited to start saving money and accomplish real things!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Christmas piccies! This first one is my favorite, but it came out kind of yellow-ey. I attached another one with normal lighting so you can see my hair color better.
I got the nicest pair of Guess jeans for christmas, too! Love them! I was trying to snap a picture of them, and then realized I had christmas abs! I was disappointed you can't see the shiny though. The back pockets are shiny and glisten in the light, and so does the area around the front pockets! Best jeans ever.
Workout soon! Cannot waitTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

Excellent workout today Oh! And I had the genius idea of putting the barbell in the corner like normal, and then putting the weight scale under the other end to se how much the bar weighs in the corner like that. It was 20lbs So now just take whatever weight is added, and add another 20lbs for total weight! Exciting! lol!
And now I know why I missed back day last week. My back gets sooo sore from leg day that it only recovers by Friday and then it’s too tired for leg day on Sunday. lol! I was NOT recovered enough for this- my lower back was taking it. Hence the belt.
Back and Biceps!
T-Bar Rows: 3x3-5 reps
Bar + 35x20
Bar + 65x6
Bar + 100x3
Bar + 115x4 (crap reps- to break past 110)
Bar + 100x5
Bar + 100x5
A1- Turkey Curls: 3x3-5 reps
Bar x10 each
Bar + 10x10 each
Bar + 15x3 each (PR! +2.5lbs, +3 reps)
Bar + 15x3 each ^^
Bar + 15lbsx3 each (so back to curling 35lbs per arm)
(Tried to brighten this one up...In the process of reverting that. lol!)
A2- One-Arm BB Rows:
Bar + 25x12 each
Bar + 35x9 each
Bar + 30x10 each
Bar + 30x9 each
B1- Bent-Over BB Rows: (supersetted extra sets w/more curls)
95x6 (Too heavy)
80x12
80x12
80x11
80x11
80x11
B2- BB Curls:
55x9
55x8
55x5
50x9 (HA! Tired biceps)
B2-Plate Curls:
35lbsx6
25lbsx14
25lbsx13
C1- Turkey Curls:
Bar + 2.5lbsx10
Bar + 2.5bsx9
Bar x10
C2- T-Bar Rows:
Bar + 70lbsx9
Bar + 35lbsx14
Bar + 35lbsx10
Bar + 25lbsx14
Great workout! And I got some good back pics!

Hahaha!
Yes, actually. The last time I measured it was 35", down from 36.5ish", and that was a few pounds up from my current weight- I will have to take more measurements this weekend!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Oh guys, I have so SO many problems. lol! So I wake up this morning, and there is snow everywhere. Inches and inches of snow. Ok, well not that much, but the most significant snowfall we had so far this year. So I gear up and put my snow-pants on, my 5lb weight in my book-bag, put my boots on, a layer of sweaters, totally bundled to the point where mobility was definitely a problem.
The sidewalks were not plowed, but instead of taking the bus all the way to work like a normal person, here I am, running because of the lack of wide strides I can take, through the thick snowy sidewalks, with 15lb backpack on my back, with a huge grin on my face, just loving it. lol! I don't know how I manage to look so fresh when I get here. Hahahahahaha! I got here right on time!
Oh, my. My back soreness just kicked in. Ouch! Oh man do my biceps and back feel brutalized! I'm just sitting here and the effort of sitting up straight sends these painful sharp pains of fatigue through my back! lol! I can't believe I'm working today. I can't believe I'm not hungover today. I can't believe its garbage night again. Where does the time go?
Chest and triceps later today! Or I may push that until tomorrow, Ow, my BACK! lol! Oh the soreness.Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Morning Lori,
Yep, the snow flew yesterday for sure.
I was up at 5AM to give myself more time for the drive. Still took me 1 1/2 hrs! Sucks!
Roads we real bad. Lots of cars in ditches.
Sounds like you had a great Christmas!
Have a great day.
Great pics.
I got a food scale as one of my gifts. I was playing around with it and decided to weigh a scoop of my protein powder. I was shocked.
The label gives the macros for a serving which the label says is two scoops ( 61g). Well, one scoop weighed 58g !
So it looks like I have been getting double the calories etc that I thought I was getting because I always made two scoop shakes. There is no expiration date on being healthy.

Good Morning!
Oh, brutal! There must be more traffic where you are, hey? The bus ride here was pretty normal regarding timing/road conditions!
My christmas was wonderful- it was a bit quieter than usual, but I didn't have many days off so I didn't mind some downtime. We made the best of it for sure! Hope yours was good as well!
Hahaa! Yeah, that's why people always weigh things. I don't, but I don't track my calories. I write a plan, and then I forget to look at it all week. Hahahaha! I'm the worst example to follow, EVER, when it comes to this lifestyle lol!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Went for an awesome jog/walk at lunchtime today! My body is loving all the sleep I've been getting in the past few days! I feel like my old self again for the first time since I started working. I should really try to get to bed earlier once holidays are over But then Andrew will be home and then it's hard.
We've been looking at lots of nice apartments though online! We've decided to get one in a different house than the one we're in now. One that looks newer and brighter and is cheaper. There are lots of those! So we're going to start saving and hopefully get our own place in about 2 months! Exciting!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Yes, that's exactly it.
lol!
It's hard to sleep when Andrew comes home and blasts a bunch of music at 9:30-10:00 at night, and then proceeds to go on Xbox live with his head set on and yells/laughs loudlyTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

yep, looks like someone is going to HAVE to do a workout when she gets home. Holy moly the boring day I'm having. I played solitaire, read part of a book online, exhausted the internet for all it's worth.....So sick of looking at screens! Must do workout! Must use energy!
lol- one of my co-workers just came up and offered me some of the fudge she made "Can I get you to eat a piece? You have to eat, you're too skinny. Come ON!." lol! Good thing she's as nice as she is Hahaha! Ahhh...People think I'm so frail and weak....Last edited by gobbles23; 12-27-2012 at 01:43 PM.

Awesome Christmas photos - I love the jeans! Can't quite tell from the pics, but based on your description, I believe I was eyeing up the same pair last week (I have a weakness for Guess )
I am so happy that you guys had a wonderful Christmas!
Best of luck appartment hunting - that sounds fun

Hahaha! Stephen said I should have challenged her to an arm wrestle- the loser is in the poorest health/eats the fudge lol!
Hahha! I thought so too
Neither one of us can wait to get our own place! It feels like we're on vacation right now even though I'm still working! We sleep more, we cook and clean less, and the place looks so much more comfy without andrews clothes and blankets all over the living room- and it's nice to actually be able to use the living room during the morning/afternoon hours. But it can't be helped at the moment...So we deal and save money...
I wish they still looked like that! I am plagued with post-Christmas junk food fluff. lol!
After he gave us his bedroom and bed and took us in for however many months are necessary?? All three of us are sacrificing something to make our current living arrangement work. I'm too grateful for his help to take away his fun- that's the time he gets home from work since he's on a different schedule than us. We wear earplugs, they just suck after a few uses and we're constantly loosing them and having to buy more.

He doesn't make us pay rent- but at his place its 750. The place we were thinking of getting at first in that same house is 950, but we were looking online and there are some really nice ones that range from 550-800, utilities included, so we're definitely going to look into an apartment for that price range that's newer with a washer and dryer!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Are you kidding me? The first apartment I lived in with my future ex-husband in 1983 we paid $450 rent and that was average for a one bedroom apartment with utilities. Thirty years ago! Is the cost of living really that cheap where you guys are? I guess that makes up for the ridiculous train prices you mentioned before (And don't ask me how come I can remember what my rent was in 1983 but I don't know what I did last week. You'll understand someday when you are old, lulz.)
