I can't tell you in relation to auto LEDs; but from my vast expierence in the aquarium hobby LED's are great since they last ~50,000 hours, run cooler and emit light within a specified wavelength. Be sure to choose the correct Kelvin rating. 2700K is yellow like the lighting from Halogen lamps; while 5500-6500K is more like daylight and 10000K is more blueish like Xenon.

most any brand you buy will most likely never need to be replaced. led last a very long time. just go to amazon, theres a lot of kits specific for your make and model car. I did all my cars like that. and theyre only like 25 bucks for all interior lighting.

Just don't throw ****ty high intensity leds into your headlights and expect a dramatic result....
Do your research. Legit led headlamp bulbs are not cheap, and include some serious heat sinks in the back that require housing modification to make them work. Not to mention a typical reflector housing doesn't focus the light of an LED bulb, it sprays it all over so it's not bright at all.
That said, look for OSRAM or Cree for inside the vehicle if you can find them.

meh i think led lighting is overrated. if op has hid factory bulbs it would be a downgrade. leds seem brighter than they are since they are a point source, but there is a reason modern factory led headlight cars have sets of 7+ high power led arrays for just the headlights. hid is stil a stonger light source. and fillament bulbs of the same rating are just as effective at lighting up an area, bought some led reverse lights, they seemed brighter bit they didnt light up the area any better than conventional fillament bulbs.
