We're lucky here in Australia, employers on top of our salary are forced to pay a minimum of 9% into our retirement fund that we can't access until we retire. Otherwise we'd be screwed.

My pension took a beating in 2008. One minute I had 137,000 k, the next it’s around 74k . Quite a setback recovering, and I’m not getting any younger .
I’m sure the majority of people live pay day to pay day ,and their only hope is inheritance
