I am 15, and I am willing to do anything to continue to progress as a runningback. I'm starting plyometrics on Wednesday, and I know a few drills I can do with boxes, but what plyometric exercises do you know that make you run more explosively and jump higher (might play basketball, too)?
My max lifts are:
Bench: 115lb
Squat: 180lb
Deadlift: 200lb

if your serious your gonna need to look at all the top running backs in the nfl, Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, Thomas Jones etc, they all have THICK mass to them...
Focus on getting your legs THICK powerful and explosive, you have guys like ray rice squatting 650+ lbs,
your core needs to be Thick as well so you can withstand taking hits and keep your body stable,
your biceps will need to be very strong in ordeer to hold onto the ball and not get stripped...
buildup your chest shoulders and back as well to reinforce your body against hits, but most important part to focus on is your LEGS!

A great way to increase your power for explosive running is sled pulls. Try doing sprints pulling a weighted sled for 10-20 yards, rest to full recovery then repeat 8-10 times. If you're looking to increase your vertical leap, start incorporating dumbbell jump squats into your workout.

you are no where even close to developed, strong enough or have a developed enough CNS to handle a full flegged plyo program. You need to squat, deadlift and do core work. For Plyo's you should stick to box jumps thats about it, also sprinting is actually about as plyometric as you can get.
There is no magic workout or technique. It all starts with hard work and a solid base with squats and deadlifts before getting into the more advanced techniques. Squat, deadlift and run you will be fine
