I recently got a new job working for a great company I am super excited about. It is my 4th day and I am completely overwhelmed with information, I am having serious anxiety because it is so much jargon and info that is new to me. They gave me a sales deck that I will soon have to present to clients.
Do any of you have tips for acclimating yourself to the new sales role and getting the lingo/pitch down quickly?
I have to jump on the phones soon and my boss is going to be shadowing me which is nerve-racking. What are some ways you were able to nail the presentation down/pitch and move forward?
As of right now - I have been writing down talking points, questions to ask client, and a glossary of terms to remember.
