I have read over this entire thread the past few days and there are some truly inspirational stories here. I have been trying to lose weight off and on for the past couple years but I have really shifted it in to high gear since my wife gave me an ultimatum. At the end of the day, I am tired of people telling me that I have gained weight and I'm tired of not being able to fit my old clothes. I hope this doesn't sound weird but one of the reasons why I want to lose weight is so I can start back getting bjs. My wife used to do it all the time but she stopped last year and now says it is gross. I'm hoping that fact that I drop this fat will indeed bring her to her knees or if push comes to shove, I can always get another woman to find me attractive and do it. I know this may sound kind of shallow but it's the way I feel and I'm sure other guys may be going through the same thing even though they may not admit it.

I was 260lbs at 5'3 and lost 90lbs in 2 years. I was a fat slob. One day I looked in the mirror and realized that I had to make a change. Best decision I ever made. I got back into lifting as well and I look 10x better than I use to. Fitness for life!

By the way, have you noticed that this minority of people whose obesity results from some medical condition really put effort in losing weight? It struck me during years spent at clinics.

It's nearly the same reaction when I meet someone with face tattoos. I am not talking about having some fat, I am talking about the obvious degenerate types who figure discipline is too hard and the world should just condone their unsightly and unhealthy lifestyle. In all honesty, I swear there’s something wrong with me . I don’t seem to be eating that much this past four months , been walking 2 miles every second day , pumping iron in between, and my weight is dam near stuck at 275 .
I get very hypoglycaemic when I don’t eat . It’s not hard to fall under 4 on my neighbors blood sugar tester . (U should b between 4-7)
Tried more protein and it doesn’t do anything for hypoglycaemia, only carbs like bread help maintain my blood sugar .
