What type of business?
At least you have the flexibility to say fuk it you’re not doing anything today. You answer to no one. When I owned a business, it was fkin amazing. You feel immense pride knowing you created something that nobody can take away. There’s nothing else I’d rather do, but my problem was the opposite. There was not enough money coming in, so I still had to work a day job and eventually close down.
Be grateful you’re not only highly profitable, but you also get to work with a loved one instead of a bunch of gossiping cocksuckers at a dead end office job.

Exactly this. I took a short contract with a government place to test the waters years ago and it was only four months but felt like an eternity. I actually don't know how people do it every day. Annoying co-workers, a boss that gave you stupid busy work and admin nightmares. I had to actually make a phone call to do something as simple as clear a printer queue because they were worried about confidential documents.
I have my own office, make my own hours, no coworkers and can adjust my time however I like. And still make decent money.

See that's the problem.
Not to tell u what u should want, but I'm not a 9-5 type of guy, I go all in. If I had my own business, I'd be all in, but I'd be all in for myself not all in for someone else.
In any case, ur making good money u can prolly enjoy urself take a little break and buy urself something nice as the fruits of ur labor. U might just be a little tiredTrump/Vivek 2024

Excess stress is your body's signal that something is amiss. Make some changes and you might enjoy it more.

Ah yes the circle jerk of business owners letting everyone know how hard they got it but wouldn't change it for the world even though most people could never handle the pressures.
This is like how women have to let everyone know how difficult it is to be a woman. Bro I got some bad news, lots of people work hard and have tons of stress. You aren't special because you own a business. Shut the f*ck up and deal like the rest of us. No one is impressed

I mean, I think it's pretty awesome. But it took me a while to move away from a "keep up with the Joneses" lifestyle, which absolutely doesn't work for self employment. You need to move to the beat of your own drum. Always keep your expenses low, and have a bunch of money in the bank.
You gotta have some thick skin and ability to tell people to fuk off though.
