this is what i have been doing to get through carb cravings

seems like once or twice a week I get bad carb cravings after a couple months of tracking calories. in the past id binge badly on donuts, rolls, and sugar and weight would bounce back. this is what's working this time... learned this from Greg Doucette videos.

I start by eating 1-2 pounds of strawberries (145 calories per pound.) then I make 4-6 egg white French toasts. with normal white bread, egg whites, and lite syrup. this comes out to 70 calories per slice of bread, 25 calories per 2 tbs spoons of egg white, and 50 calories per 2 tbs of syrup. i can satisfy my cravings with around 500 calories, rather than 2000 from donuts.

    try it brahs

it is carbs. I guess I mean when I'm craving something sweet. it's just being smart about it and not loading up on empty calories. I have a hard time stopping with something like donuts

+1 on the strawberries - my go to sweet when I'm cutting. Surprisingly low in sugar/calories for how sweet and satisfying they are.

But you might be low-balling the egg white French toast - do you not cook it in oil? That definitely adds to the total.
