Shocking Results With The All New Shock Therapy

First off I want to say thank you to Universal for giving me the chance to log the new Shock Therapy. I finally got my package today and will begin using it this evening during my workout. This is going to be my first log of a product as well so hopefully it goes well.

So just to give you an overview of how I'll be using this, I play football at a D3 school so I'm going to be using this for workouts/running. We currently started spring practices 4 days a week and we still continue to lift 3 days a week. Along with this I try to get another lift day in and also incorporate some cardio as well. Our workouts change each week so I'll be providing some info on them after each day of workouts. I won't really be keeping track of what I eat as I live on campus and its kind of hard to eat healthy all time, anyone whose ever lived in dorm probably understands haha

Goal wise I'm hoping to improve on the 3 main lifts that we test in bench, squat, hangclean. We don't do one rep maxs but instead try for 3-7 reps. Here's my current and goals:
    Current Goal
    Bench: 335x5 355x5
    Squat: 405x5 425x5
    HangClean 245x5 265x5
So pretty much I'm gonna try and gain 20lbs in each of my lifts.

So theres all my kinda background info and letting you know what I'll be doing during this log. I'll being putting up my first thoughts later on today and hopefully it goes pretty good.

    Day 1

    Todays Workout:
10 min warmup doing plyos and using bands to get to loose
    Hang Clean: 185x5 225x5x3 245x3
    Squats: 315x6x2 335x5 345x5 365x4
    Push Press: 135x8 155x8 185x8 205x8
Super set: Chin ups(band assist) 3xmax reps
    RDLs: 225x10x3
    Ab Circuit x3:Czech twist w/25lbx1min, crunchesx50, toe taps w/10lbx25
Not a whole lot but like I said most of my workouts are put together by our strength coach and most of the sets that we do go off of percentages of our calculated maxes

So first time trying this product and I have to say that it did not dissapoint. When they said they were gonna deliver a product that tasted great they weren't lying. I got the grape ape and I can honestly say its prob the best tasting pre-workout I've ever had, tasted just like grape kool aid haha. I know that it says start with one scoop but being a bigger guy I used two. As far as energy goes I could feel a burst prob about 20-30 min after i drank it. I was able to keep that energy through out my entire workout as well which was def a plus for me. I was focused the entire time and could def feel it helping me make it through my entire workout. Overall my impression of this on day one is that this seems to be the real deal. Helped me get through all my sets and def felt a good burst of energy with it.

Nice... Grape Ape is solid. Despite all the stims and such, it tastes great.

Other than that though lifts are kinda on our own now they just post the workouts and its up to us to get in and lift. Its kinda dumb I think but who knows haha

    Day 2

    Todays Workout:
10 min warmup doing plyos and using bands to get to loose
    Overhead Squat: 105x8x3
    Power Clean w/Front Squat: 185x5x5
    Close Grip Bench: 225x10 245x8 265x6 295x6
Superset: Sitting Dumbell Shoulder Press: 70x8 80x8x2
    EZ bar curls: 75x10 85x8+2negs
    100reps of abs

Second day taking this and I have to say I'm still feeling the stuff. Took 2 scoops again and felt it start to kick in after about 20 min or so. Felt the energu all throughout my workout and it deff helped me get through all of my sets today. I also still have practice later on tonight but won't be taking any before that as most of what we do is just a lot of walk throughs.

So I had a pretty long workout today but it was well worth it. Tryed to go a little heavy on the leg press but just still not very used to what we have in our weight room. We have a machine where each leg pushes a seperate part and I'm more used to having both feet on a single surface. Also I'm trying to get back into doing some rack squats so that I can get my back used to having heavy wt on it when we test toward the end of the month. Other than that today was a pretty good workout. I can still feel the shock kicking in about 20 min after having it and the energy and pump I get from it lasts me throughout the entire workout.

    Day 6,7,8

Alright I know I'm a little late here but I was home for easter break and was having trouble with the internet so didnt get a chance to update but here we go.

    DAY 6-Thursday
All I did this day was just 45 min of mixed cardio and threw in a little bit of abs at the end. The shock def helped give me some energy to get going though as I was having a lazy day. All in all though had a nice little workout

    DAY 7-Friday
    Benchpress: 185x15 225x12 275x6 315x3 365x1 385x1 225x15
    Cable Crossovers: 6x10x4
    Decline Bench Press: 185x10 225x10 275x6x2
    Machine Chest Press: 230x12 250x8 270x8 290x6
    Cable Tri Pushdowns: 10x12 12x10 14x10 16x8
    JM Press: 135x10 155x10 185x8x2
    Overhead DB tri extension: 85x10x3
    One arm cable pulldowns: 4x10x4

So I def had a good day at the gym here. Prob the most amount of energy and pumps I got out of the shock by far since I began taking it(upped it to 2 1/2 scoops). Def had a good day on the bench today, I didn't plan on going to heavy but it was going up easy so I decided to go for it. 365 andf 385 went up pretty easy and I wanted to try for 405 but just decided not to. Other than that everything else was going up easy and had a great lift session.

    DAY 8-Saturday
    Squat: 225x10 275x10 315x8 365x4
    Seated Machine Leg Curl: 110x12 130x10 150x8x2
    Seated Machine Leg extension: 190x10 210x10 230x8 250x6
Calf Raise on leg press machine: 490x10x4
    Hang Shrugs: 185x8x3
    Hang Hi-pulls: 135x10 155x10 185x8
    Hang Clean w/Front Squat: 185x6x2 205x6

Not real sure what it was this day but it took me til I got to doing my hang shrugs before I had any real motivation or felt right to lift. Had a terrible day squatting and I think part of the reason was that my back was sore for some reason. After awhile though my back did loosen up and I was ablwe to kinda save my workout haha At the end I kinda went through a hang clean progressin and really just tried to work on all the movements and form and it actually turned out alright.

    & DB Concentration Curls: 40x6x3
    & DB Curl w/twist: 40x6x3
Standing Ez Bar Curls: 21's w/75lbx3

So today I was pretty much focused on doing rack squats and was happy with the results I got. The weight was going up easier and I can def tell that their helping my squat out overall. For the laast set I also set the safety bars down to just above parallel and was able to rep out 405 for 8 like it was nothing. Everything else went good as well and I wasnt dissapointed with anything.

    Day 11 (today)
    Overhead Squat: 105x8x3
    Hang Cleans: 205x5 225x5 245x4x2
    BenchPress: 275x5 295x5 315x5 315x5 335x4
Superset: Seated DB Press: 70x8 85x8x3
    & Skulls w/EZ bar: 95x12x4
    Barbell Shrugs: 315x12x4
    Superset: YTW's: 5lbx12 each wayx2
    & Wrist flex/extension: 35xmax repsx2

Again today felt good. Not a huge fan of the overhead squat haha but was liking the hang cleans and benchpress today. Still getting a nice burst of energy taking the shock and also still loving the grape ape flavor. I'm about half way through the container so I plan on putting up a review soon with more of my thoughts and I'll post a link to it in here.
