Is this a good workout for toning muscles?
My g/f needs something she can do at home as she cannot afford a gym membership

Get her some dumbbells. I've seen sets with weights for under $40.00. Even comes with it's own carrying case. She can do a variety of exercises with just DB's. Even if she doesn't have a bench.
See if these links work. Weights always better than gadgets.

^ i wish
But she wont go unless she has a partner PLUS I know she cant work out more than 1 or 2 times a week.
She has teaching and classes (Teacher Master Program) from 8am to 6pm Mon to Friday, and wednesday she is at school 8am-9pm.
So a gym is unrealistic until the summer time.
I dont know I heard its not that bad.
This u can easily increase reistance, and do a bunch of excercises.
Any excercise i better than none, I figure
But Ill think about it.
Those dumbells are even pretty looking LOL.
