Rep. Kevin Brady on #CASHAct: "Will this stimulate our local economies? Not a lot. What we know is that much of this extra $1600 will go to pay down credit card debt, or savings, or even make new purchases online at Walmart, Best Buy, or Amazon."

Probably not, which will cost Republicans the Senate when both GA seats flip Dem. Whatever your opinion of the bill is fiscally, there’s no denying that when you go on record refusing to give struggling Americans money, voters will remember.
I’m fine with it though. McConnell and his goons betrayed Trump, so now he’s making them sleep in the bed they made. I hope the GOP burns.

I am so thankful I opened a business in 2019. Small business owners in my state all got $20k (srs).
With this new stimulus bill we are getting another $10k.
My business is booming, I don't need it either, many other businesses do not either, but we all get a decent check anyway.
Businesses with 5M+ revenue get far more free COVID money than that too.
I bought a $4k piece of jewelry with the first one. srs.
Might get a rolex with this up coming one. srs.
Government sucks at appropriating funds
