Been leaning up a bit and went from 100lb db press for 1 rep to not even being able to do 90s for 1 rep today.
Maybe not eating that much but thats because I want a rock solid 6 pack for summer.

1. With free weights, there is a stability aspect. More bodyweight stabilizes you more, regardless of if that's from fat or from muscle.
2. There was a study done on fat fuk sumo wrestlers where 1/3 of the weight gained was still muscle.
So yes, fat makes you stronger.People make fun of blacks, Indians and Muslims all the time on this site and no one cares. I make fun of landwhales, and all these simps show up.
At least blacks, Indians and Muslims are human beings. Landwhales belong in a zoo. They aren't even human. What is there to be offended over?

Other than a true beginner, I think it's really hard to lose fat without losing a little muscle, so you probably lost a little.
Fat also helps reduce range of motion with some lifts (not db press, obviously) so that contributes to the idea of fat people being stronger. I think there's an also an effect on insertion angles that also helps people be stronger at higher body fat %.SAAVM CREW

fat means more surface area so you can distribute heavier weight better. That's why most super heavy weight olympic weightlifters are very tubby looking.

Yeah I think extra mass, whether it's muscle or fat, makes it easier to stabilise heavy weight. Bro science incoming but it's analogous to you (the weight) trying to knock over a person (the lifter). It's easier to put a scrawny person off balance than a bloatlord because the former has less inertia due to less mass. The more stable your body is, the less it restricts the force output of your muscles, allowing you to lift closer to your actual potential.

I used to eat McDonalds before the gym because it was a good 30-40mins bus trip
Ate a burger before = couldn’t lift anywhere near my normal weight
Ate chicken wrap & fries before = felt like i was the gym
That said more body mass = more weight could lift
I used to prefer low fat & high carbs / high protein
Id rather the excess protein stored as fat / piss
Animal fat contains pathogens & inflammation
Becoming a bloat load = carrying more weight 24/7 = bigger muscles
