Anyone else find the movie "X" incredibly anti-white?

I said this before in 2020.

Some of these miscers seem to be bothered or even offended that they're not seeing White characters in prominent, dominant, or altruistic roles in media and instead seeing more POC's playing those roles. EDIT: Thing is there are still plenty of White individuals still playing these roles, so it's like what are you mad about anyway?

It's almost as if they're rustled by their own lack of "inclusion" and feel entitled to it. Weird.

I think you’re misinterpreting the issue many of us have with this trend. I know you’re misinterpreting my personal issue with it. It’s nothing to do with the actors skin color and everything to do with the intention and underlying messages behind it. We may just disagree here, but it sounds like you’re unwilling to admit that intention does exist in a lot of new media.

Both views can be true and exist at the same time here. Not everything with a nonwhite/female lead or cast is intentionally done this way. Movies like Blade and Alien are two of my all time favs, Snipes and Weaver both were organic to their roles. If you really don’t see a difference between the two when you watch them idk what else to say.

I’m not surprised that’s the case with some. Misc will misc. I haven’t and won’t be seeing it. I’m rustled at the state of movies period. I’ve stopped giving money to that business overall for many reasons other than this particular subject. The people involved in the entertainment industry really don’t deserve any of our money.

Not sure why hereditary got such high reviews.

It's the pendulum swinging back on the gore porn era. The Saw, Hostel, Human Centipede, wave was gore pushed to the extreme, and now this is the aftermath...a bunch of pretentious hipsters and theater kids circle jerking over arthouse horror.

They call it "elevated" but in reality they take a concept, dumb it down, sterilize it, strip out anything vaguely interesting, and focus on a slow burn so they can pretend anyone who doesn't love their bland garbage remakes "didn't get it." The Christopher Nolan effect, if you will.

For example, that Midsommar movie is just The Wicker Man.

Also, Mia Goth's performance in Pearl should have received an Oscar nomination.

But believe it or not there are a lot of people here, and IRL that it does apply to. It's a sinister and covert way to radicalize all of us against each other at the end of the day. I'd go deeper into it, but I want to finish the book first. Even then I doubt I'll cite how deeply this chit runs. Things are going to have to run their course, unfortunately.
