It sounds like you've been through a lot lately, but it's good to see you're finding ways to cope and keep moving forward. Taking care of your physical health with activities like deadlifts, squats, and yoga can be incredibly beneficial for your mental well-being too. And indulging in hobbies like poker, billiards, and bowling can provide a much-needed distraction from the stressors in life.
Breakups can be tough, but it seems like you're doing your best to stay in the moment and focus on the things that bring you joy. It's natural to feel uncertain about the future, especially with recent changes like your roommate moving out and considering whether to get another roommate or a dog. Take your time to figure out what feels right for you.
If the yoga instructor and the other person you asked out didn't respond positively, it might just be a matter of timing or compatibility. Don't take it too personally; sometimes things don't work out, but there are plenty of opportunities for new connections and experiences ahead.
Buying a house is a big accomplishment, and it's great that you're able to handle the mortgage on your own if needed. Whatever you decide about getting another roommate or a dog, make sure it's a decision that feels right for you and fits with your lifestyle.
As for your summer plans, it's okay to take things one step at a time. You don't have to have everything figured out right now. Focus on taking care of yourself and doing what makes you happy in the present moment. Things will fall into place in due time.
