neither believe in god, but atheists rule it out with confidence, while agnostics leave the door open for the possibility that there is a god. does that mean that atheists have superior intellect because they don't even entertain an idea that has no scientific evidence, or that agnostics are superior because they admit the impossibility of approaching spiritual matters scientifically?
keep in mind studies have shown that the more religious you are, the lower you score on cognitive tasks. so does that mean spirituality really is a sliding scale for intelligence, and that agnostics rank lower than atheists?
