I agree with you. Personality trumphs over looks for long term relationships/marriage. Of course you have to be attracted to the person, but there is so much you can take if the person's personality sucks. For me, I would add that intelligence and values are also important over looks.

Physical appearance changes all the time due to different factors such as age, eating habits, lifestyle, etc. I can meet someone who is above average one day, and then five months later that person can turn into average or below average. It can also go vice versa. Hahaha..
