That is good news that you will be feeling better and stepping things up soon. Somebody posted a note to you to NOT take aspirin. I wanted to make sure you saw that warning.
THANK YOU! I spent all day today fighting with my puter between running errands. I am exhausted. I woke up today and was not able to get online at all, not even with AOL. It finally crashed.
I was scared I would not be able to keep posting in this thread.
I think I fixed the prob now and am back on IE8 and AOL. Instead of dwnloading your advise I dwnloaded AVG FREE again for the upgrade. That program will stop me from clicking on a threat no matter if I use IE8 or any others. I am hesitant to dwnload the malware though, since I am finally runnin smooth I dont wanna mess anything up again. I tried to REP you but I have to wait for recharge.
LOL. I BBQ every weekend. Usually chicken or steaks. I cheated at Olive Garden yesterday, so I will not be cheating this weekend.
Just a joke. I can understand your disappointment FOR SURE and how you reached your disagreement with the rules, but PLEASE "mentally" reboot and move forward with your goals. Please put the locate on my thread and keep me updated with your progress.

I think I might have a problem walking tomorrow....did 10 sets of different types of squats. then did some intervals on the TM.

I hate it when i'm sore the next day after a killer leg workout. People ask me if i'm okay left and right then some assume i dropped some eggs in my pants and give me a weird look.
But at least you know you had a killer workout!

I dropped off the face of the planet for a week, pretty sure I missed posting week 6
Sadly my thesis was still kicking my ass until Monday, so all I did was stay at my computer desk and work all day and almost all night...plus stuff my face...
So, I've gained it all back, and I'm pretty sure its not just bloat. Bad time to do this...but I got 2 more weeks in Toronto to workout, and then I move back to Saskatchewan and start with my PT and start rugby and football too..so hopefully I can start to lose fairly quickly. The move is going to mean a few days off from working out for sure though (although carrying boxes and furniture is kind of a workout). Going to pack food for the drive so I'm not tempted by bad foods I shouldn't eat, but definitely going to plan a cheat day for then too.

Morning...
Pretty happy with how things are progressing on my end. Learned to have a bit more patience and its paying off. had a legs with light shoulder workout yesterday. For delt focused more on injury prevention type moves like facepulls, and rotary cuf type moves on a cable. Felt good.
So I packed away my size 42 jeans and some of the 40s cause they are pretty big now too. Wearing 38s today and they are loose. if they had 37s I would try them but dont think they do. Going clothes shopping tomorrow for some jeans and shirts. I dont have anything that fits!

YES! feeling 100% better compared to the last 2 days....hopefully my sinuses dont kick up later today but right now I am feeling a ton better....last 2 days all I have done was sleep sleep and more sleep. I can still tell I have some pressure on my right side but its not nearly as bad as it was.
Going to attempt to make up for Legs/Back yesterday and maybe do some extra cardio for my lack of progress this week.
Only down a pound so far.

i would love to ball this weekend but i don't know if the weather will permit.(i'm not paying ~$10 for a day pass).
down to about 180/181. work slacks are getting looser which is good but also 'bad' since i'll probably have to buy new ones.
i've been limiting my carbs to breakfast/post-workout/and some milk in my pre-bed shake. now i just have to amp up the cardio and the fat will be melting off

My father and sister are both diabetic. My dad (diabetic at age 22) follows the strict "old fashioned" rules of abstaining from candy, and faithful to splenda- as if one is safer than the other ....
My sister? Well...diabetes (diagnosed as a newborn and is 38 and healthy now) never stopped her from eating her chocolate- no way! and splenda? She wouldnt think of it. Those two people are like night and day.
But yes your comeback WILL shut people up cause society thinks diabetics cant enjoy those good things in life.

Today was shoulder day
I feel great, up my standing press by 5 pounds
But there is a idiot next to me that is not paying attention and got me worried and had a bad feeling about it but i decided to go anyway.
So I'm about to jerk the barbell into the position [first rep for me is always clean and jerk] and as i jerk it this idiot bumps the barbell right as i was putting my arms under it and well after that my workout ended with bad elbow pains...
Sitting here with icy hot and wraped elbow thinking to myself how unlucky i am with my injuries

What is wrong with people these days? I've ran into some of the most inconsiderate people at the gym.
Just last night I was sitting in the sauna and a lady walks in and joins me. She's wheezing like crazy, and I just assume she had been working out really hard and was trying to catch her breath. As she sat there in the heat, she started wheezing harder. Before long, she started coughing. And blowing her nose. And hacking up phlegm. I got up and walked out, hoping she just had allergies. A couple of months ago, I caught the worst cold from a woman who came to the gym sick (except that time, she coughed directly on me and then proceeded to tell me that she had been sick for three weeks and unable to shake it!). I had a similar experience.
Remember all the swine flu business? Well, a guy at my gym was hacking away in the locker room. I eventually over hear him tell his friend that he was getting over the swine flu (WTF?). I'm sitting there wondering why the hell he is even at the gym. To make things worse, I go to the urinal and guess who's beside me?
