    Strength Question

    Honestly not too sure if this is the right section. But it seems to be the only one where strength is legitimately discussed.

    When I was 17 and lifting 3 days a week, I barely maxed at 250 on bench, 150 on squat, and maybe 225 on deadlift. I turned 18, focused on bodyweight training and I am able to squat 200 six times, not too sure about my bench and deadlift thus far, but I'm assuming they'll be up.

    Did I get my man strength or did I get stronger?

    How would I have gotten stronger, I forgot to mention so my apologies lol.

    At 17 I weighed 170-ish and right now I'm under 160 and I haven't lifted any sort of weight besides my body in months. How did that exactly happen?

    Well, bodyweight is still weight. Obviously you've been doing something since you've gotten stronger. Running or even just walking will increase your squat when it's that low (honestly no offense).

    Might be the cell-tech gnomes, too, though.

    Yes, you are now a man becuz u squatted 200lbs 6x....everybody know that. Lets see...i remember when i became a man, i was 15 y/o 125lbs but i did squat 210lbs 10x, i was born with a little more man than the average human male.

    I have weak legs lol it's ok.

    But isn't there such a thing as man strength which comes along when you're about 18? I was always told there was.
