I barely had any facial hair at 19 and it pissed me off that I couldn't try growing out a beard, not Stonewall Jackson-style, but a clean-cut beard. Then at 21 my facial hair started growing out faster and I've had a beard for the past year now and it grows pretty damn quickly.

yeah, im 25 years old and cant grow a sweet beard for crap. My brother was able to at about 22. My dad is not that hairy and can grow a thin beard. Well a good beard i guess. My chin has major stub, but my side burns and sides are barely sprouting.
I would say its genetics. When i take andros, phs, or testosterone products, i think i notice some hair growth. Might just be me belieiving in that theory that andros increase facial hair.My 2 cents!!

almost every girl i know prefers the clean cut look...plus i think facial hair is cheesy for the most part...so I just keep it clean.

I hate facial hair. I have to shave everyday. Once my 5 o'clock shadow comes, it doesn't even look like I have shaved. O'well I'm italian

its funny how if you ask someone "whats a goatee?" they will almost always reaply by rubbing or pointing to their chin. almost no one ever says things like "facial hair".
