I am going to get us a new mod for this section alone. Since PL16 was shut down, who do you all think would be the next best? It's up to you guys.

of course, but pl16 would have been the best one
now i don't even see him much...
i'd say our best bet would be spike or me and do to my recent contreversy i don't think i could be willy nilly
I would do the best I could but first I say ask spike what he thinks...and then ask people what they think of me.....if spike turns the job downLast edited by p0w3rlift3r; 08-16-2002 at 06:16 PM.

Sorry to bust your bubble powerlifter, but you ARE NOT qualified. At 186lbs you have a 245lb bench? My little cousin weighed in at 184 his last meet (two or three weeks ago). He is drug free for life. The meet was adfpa. He got 405 on his third attempt. Anybody can read articles and repeat the knowledge gained, but not everyone can take that knowledge and put it to real world use. The guy who beat him was 184 and got 425. The guy who got 4th and didn't get a trophy still got 380. When you are no longer wet behind the ears, then I think you would be qualified.

its not all about wieght lifted, its about knowledge your not going to throw out mel siff because he can't bench that much are you??
qualification don't just come from bieng able to lift big, its intellagence, fairness and dedication
besides i am 15..that tends to make a differenceI've seen a 15 year old deadlift 440 lbs. first time ever touching a weight

herkimer wilson, That doesn't mean that they couldn't be a MOD.... Joshua Ward benched like 500 something at 15... But he probably couldn't tell a Bench from his Ass... I don't think he would be qualified to mod these boards... So in your opinion the best person to mod these boards would be the strongest? Thats unethical, i mean this takes Intelligence as well... Just because your cusion is stronger doesn't mean that hes better qualified for this spot. He could have had a natrual 400 bench for all we know, we can only make decisions on this from what we know about p0w3r,deciever and spike, through their demonstrations of their knowledge and them helping fellow powerlifters.

"To crush your enemies, drive them before you and hear the lamentations of the women"
"You son of a b*tch, I'm gonna rip you off my chest, I'm gonna throw you over my head, I don't care how much you weigh." - Arnold Schwarzenegger

Reason's why i think Diecver should be it:
1.) He holds usapl records..nobody else does
2.) He trians with the best in the bizz
3.) He has alot of knowlede and desire
4.) Has the time
5.) Well Respected
6.) Been on the board for a very long period of time
7.) Post quaility post....no goofy picture links etc...
8.) Has comp. experiance (sp)
9.) Knows some of "The Best" (Ray,Art,Linda...etc..)
I would also say its a race between PurePower too.. the guy is an amazing bench presser... but sadly enough...he has stoped posting as much. But hey...out with the old and in with the new..
btw... i have almost completly stoped posting at all boards...its taking up way to much time.. and time is what i dont have...iam getting tons and tons of e-mails daily asking stupid questions..and for the life of me dont know how my addy got posted around. I'am also very tired of the crap that i have put up with from a sorted few..and they know who they are. Id much rather spend my time that i agrue with them and do somthing like.. reading and studying somthing i love which is sports science... i have just invested in 5 'New' books and all which will impact my future and my knowledge.
I also see the board turning much into all WS advocated..i dont preach it and i dont study it nore do i care too. Iam not bad mouthing the system they have.. its great.. the #'s speek for themselfs..Louie and them are great guys.
I will still keep writing and doing interviews..i will let y'all know when i finished my next one.. which i havnt started yet lol...iam really debting on what to do it over.
I will check in ever so often to see how things are and see if i can lend a hand.

Ok I've learned sooo much about PL since coming here, and I have to give special props to 2 guys - DJ & Deciever. They both spend a lot of time here, DJ a little more IMO, but both post good info w/ little or no BS, and no unwarranted flames. They both lift solid, and Deciever has contest experience, albeit 1 (DJ don't you have a meet coming up?). I like the fact that they have displayed a levelheadedness in responding to recent disputes, as well as a good attitude towards others with differing opinions. I believe this is a crucial mod trait. Objectivity and evenhandedness are key to a successful mod.
In short, I would be happy with either of these guys as mod.405/275/495 @ 181 lbs BW
