I was feeling my muscles were adapting too much lately so I began a drop set workout last night. It was leg night.
Leg press 4 sets
Leg extensions machine 3 sets
Leg curl prone machine 2 sets only(legs refusing to work now)
Seated & Standing calf 2 & 2 about 25 reps each set
Max weight setup and drop weight 4-5 times
The leg and curl machines I dropped weight at each failure point within each set and kept going.
If you can't lift alot of weight like me, drop setting really fries your legs!

Thanks for the reminder, marek. I've never incorporated drop-sets, having only been at this about 7 months. Sounds like a great way to mix it up. Here's a nice article from this site on the subject: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/dropsets.htm
Arnold sure liked 'em!Age = 38
Ht = 6'2"
Wt = 185
Goals: more lean, athletic, fast, & strong.

Squats
I do my normal routine. After warm up 3-4 heavy sets at 4-6 reps. On the last set once in a while I do a drop set for the final punishment. Problem is after that, I have very little left for the finishers (hams/calves).
Also IMO drop sets are great. The body does adapt rather quick to them though. I do not feel this is something that should be done on a weekly basis.Psalm 121

bulgarian powerlifters used the drop sets for maximum strength gains. i tried it for awhile start heavy no warmups then go down when you get tired.
THE SUPPLEMENTS I TAKE INCLUDE AST CREATINE,MUSCLE MILK PROTEIN,ALL PROHORMONES CYCLED OF COURSE AND LIFT HEAVY LOW REPS [ IF YOU ARE OUT GROWING YOUR CLOTHES IT IS WORKING]
