I think the stairmaster burns more calories but I see people incline walking all the time, maybe beter for your calves

Before my surgery I weighed about 40 lbs less, so like 224.

If someone wants to burn calories and develop calves (which require immense volume), then seems like incline treadmill is the way to go.
For the record, I do neither. I do regular treadmill for my cardio needs, but I was going to start hitting the calves hard with jump rope, weights, and incline sprints/walking.
