terrible idea lmao. Don't understand how you remake Scarface outside of the '80s. Was too much of a product of its times. Unless you try to recreate that world, which is just going to come off as nostalgia-pandering.

I loved the movie except the ending
When the assassin who came in through his window shot and killed him, he should’ve ideally had enough life left in him to turn around and kill the masked assassin. Instead Tony falls to his death in the fountain and dies while silent assassin gets to keep his lifeBLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

It's one that I don't think needs a direct remake. It still holds up incredibly well and the 80's atmosphere is masterclass. There's no way they could recapture that atmosphere.
Damn...you made me want to watch it again. I may toss it on tonight. I still get chills at certain scenes, like the blimp scene. As simple as that was, with the music and the imagery...amazing.

It should be said that "Scarface" itself is a remake of a 1930s movie. So remaking it wouldn't be remaking the Al Pacino one but the 1930s one.
