Interesting battle between the Dinger of dog breeds vs the Golden Bull of dog breeds.
Unrestrained aggression/low intelligence vs discipline/restrained power. A glorious battle.

Akitas are large and really powerful, yes. Unlike the pitbull though, they are also highly intelligent and loyal. There are literally countless stories of pitbulls killing their owners at the flip of a switch. This is pretty much unheard of with Akitas except in serious cases of abuse and neglect.
I have one btw. Mine takes to training very well and is well-socialized with other dogs and strangers. Don’t even get me started with kids. Akitas are naturally great with kids. I didn’t even have to work with him on this, he’s always approached kids and even the family cats very gently.*Genocide all pitbulls crew*

One in my area mauled a little dog a month or so back, little dog wasn't expected to make it, but pulled through.
