4. What's going on here, the average African-American IQ = 85? I don't get it, it's more than in Africa but we're living in the modern world. Could it be the ~10-15% of European genes that we carry? - As a black person of high IQ I've tried running away from the ghetto and having my family hide out in the white neighborhoods, but they don't really want us there. 85 iq is not the low end, but actually the average. You would have known that if you could actually discern simple facts from what you've read. This means 50% African Americans have a below 85 iq. With 15 points being one standard deviation, only 15% of African Americans make the cut-off iq of 100 or more. 15 points on the IQ scale is the difference between your tradie and a doctor, as doctors have an iq of 115 on average.
