Thread: workout advise

    workout advise

    So i started going to the gym around three weeks ago (total beginner) and my routine is as follows:

    squats 3 sets 8 reps (10kg not including bar)
    bench same as above
    shoulder press 3 sets 8 reps 10kg
    dumbbell curl 5 sets 8 sets 8kg
    dumbbell row 3 sets 8 reps 10kg
    tricep behind head extension 3 sets 8 reps 12kg
    leg press 3 sets 8 reps 32kg

    I have come home for the week and don't have any access to a gym - only have a bench and 2 x 7.5kg dumbbells in my garage. How can i workout for this week and keep my progress going?

    Just increase reps with same exercises e.g. 3 sets 12 reps?

    First off, get on a real program. Check the stickies.

    2nd, yes, to make progress you'll do what you do with any lift. Either add more weight, more reps, or decrease rest time between sets. All 3 of those are forms of progress.
