I'm sure the phone quality is still horrific

Thinking about making the move to note 8 this week (can always go back to iPhone X due to unlimited upgrade with T-Mobile)

Never had issues with TW since Note 4.

V30 is a nice option too though. Actually wish Samsung adopted the wide angle lens on the Note over the telephoto.

lol specs. when your software and hardware blows specs dont end up meaning much.

Iphone X absolutely embarasses the S8 in benchmarks. it even matches macbooks. i used to be a phone spec whore as well when i was on android and the galaxy train. ignored the constant stuttering, random restarts, freezing, crashing, ect because muh specs were "better". then i finally tried iphone and understood all that meant jack chit.

I support both iPhone and Android users at work. The whole 'Android lags' argument is pure BS. I have more issues with my iPhone users than I do with my Android users. Not saying that iPhones and iPads are bad. I just don't by the argument against Android devices that fanboys use.

Yeah Samsung phones are legit trash because of the OS. Had one and never again. The pixel 2 is going to be the real competitor for the iPhone.

we are just seeing yearly updates similar to EA sports, call of duty type games.

I've been saying for years that the only "new" things on phones are essentially cameras. The actually computing power of them has stagnated for the most part. Oh, and bigger screens.

iPhone X is trash. Removal of the touchID is the second stupidest thing to hit phones right behind the headphone jack. Paying 1000 for phones should mean it comes with ADDITIONAL features not removal of features that work perfectly.

Sad because I do believe IOS is superior to android, works more streamlined, quicker, and less buggy. But the complete greed and lack of consideration for customers makes me continue to go to android on principle alone.

I was so close to buying the 7... then removal of headphone jack. Was prepared to drop money on the X but now removal of touchID. These are two things I use ALL THE TIME. Why would I pay to force myself to adapt to more inconvenient tech? Senseless.

This. The A11 Bionic blows every other mobile chip out of the water. Other OEMs have consistently failed to match the performance of Apple's devices.

Also, iOS encryption and privacy is leagues ahead of Android.

And iMessage > green bubbles. Google can't even put together a unified messaging platform for Android and instead cobbles together bs like Allo without SMS support.





Mostly though, all I hear is poor people complaining ITT. How about you get higher paying jobs then instead of dicking around on the forums all day?
