Usain Bolt is a true inspiration to me...
He is inspiring to me because he is proof that you can come from the bottom, and still succeed if you put your mind to it. He was hindered early In his career with injury, but that didn't slow him down. That's what makes him special as an athlete. He wasn't born with greatness, he created greatness with hard work and dedication to his sport. I think every kid growing up needs hero's like Usain.

Not even an Angels fan. But Mike Trout is probably going to be one of the best baseball players of my generation. He's not 1 dimensional like a lot of players. Dude can hit, run, field, steal bases, throw, etc. He is the complete player that a franchise wants to build around. Sure hitting home runs is fun, but robbing them has to be just as fun.
If you can rely on your ability, you don't have to worry about reliability.

Great promo!!
This guy is a prime example of a hard worker. He is almost 50 years old and he's still showing that he has what it takes to be one of the top bodybuilders in the world. He's beating guys that are half his age! That should give you some crazy motivation to go out there and put the work in, no matter what sport you're competing in or what you're doing.

My boy Patty Kane, who's on pace to become the best American born NHLer of all time! Has incredible mental fortitude, the ability to endure hardships, and deliver some dirty highlights! No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable. -Socrates

I'll probably get **** for this being that is a bodybuilding forum but after watching "fittest on earth" I'd have to say at this moment Ben Smith. The real reason that I choose him is that he went to the "Crossfit games" from 2009-2015 striving to finish first and finally did it in 2015. He kept goals along the way to better himself and met all those goals. He kept focused and worked his ass off. Nothing is more motivating that a person who keeps trying for their dream no matter how many times they are defeated, regardless of the sport. There's no way I could do the **** that they do or go through.

I choose Karl Anthony-Towns fromwhen he won the All-Star Skills Challenge last year. Towns is a PF/C hybrid with the ability to shoot, defend, pass, he's got it all. He beat a Guard, Isaiah Thomas, which the contest definitely favors over big men to win on this 3 pt shot. (As you can see, fellow big men Demarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis cheering him on after the unlikely victory.)
This highlights his vast skill set, and as a Timberwolves fan who has been through 12 YEARS of missed playoffs, there is light at the end of the tunnel with he, Wiggins, LaVine and recently drafted Kris Dunn on the squad!

im a huge Dubs fan so naturally one of my favorite athletes is Steph Curry....
i just like the way that he has proven that you dont have to be the most physically gifted individual to succeed in a sport where athleticism is king.....Curry looks like he could be playing in your rec league. The go-to explanation for his likability is that he's the every-man superstar, the one who resembles us unlike most of his colleagues because of his size, look and general demeanor.
he's turned the simplest shot in the game into his most powerful weapon. He doesn't just dribble well; he dribbles around defenders like they're traffic cones. He's constantly out-thinking his opponents.
His genius is turning the ordinary into extraordinary. GO DUBS!
